I ordered the Soya Beancurd, egg tart and you tiao.

The soya beancurd was piping hot. The texture was smooth and slippery when slurping into the mouth. The sugar syrup on the beancurd was mild sweet.

The egg tart had a nice aroma of egg and butter. The taste was good with crispy skin on the crust and eggy custard in the middle.

The you tiao was a bit disappointing, it was over fried, the whole dough absorbed too much oil.

Overall, this Rochor Beancurd was a good place to have their soya bean products, though it maybe very warm to dine in the non aircon area.

My friend brought me to this outlet claiming that they soya milk here is really good. When we were there, there was a little queue. Business was brisk. I waited for a short while and ordered a warm cup of soya milk with Portuguese egg tart. The warm soya milk was very comforting. The sweetness in it was just nice. I loved the taste. However the egg tart was extremely disappointing. It looked great but it was totally tasteless.

Went to this stall which was supposedly quite good. I'm personally a fan of beancurd and soyabean, and this did not disappoint me. The beancurd was silky and smooth and the taste of the soyabean was appropriate. I ordered just the beancurd whereas my friend ordered the soyabeancurd with soya milk in it. I find the latter better, as the beancurd comes with sugar syrup which makes it a little to sweet.

We were craving for some snacks even after a meal, and Rochor Beancurd was the only dessert place nearby aljunied - a 10 min walk from aljunied mrt. We had their butterfly - plain fried dough which was a little sweet, with sesame seeds. It costs 90 cents each. We were quite disappointed though, as it wasn't even warm or crispy. I also had the egg tart which costs $1.40. It's very flaky and crispy, similar to KFC egg tarts, but I would say this is better.

After eating our dinner, we proceed to Rochor which is famous for its beancurd. Each bowl of beancurd costs $1.30. As it is a hot night, we decided to order the cold beancurd instead of the hot one, as well as order a bowl of chilled glass jelly. I thought that the cold beancurd is actually sweet but my friend found it to be bland. However, we both agreed that the hot beancurd, based on what we remember, seemed to be more silky smooth than the cold one. The glass jelly is more towards the taste

Since I love herbal jelly, I enjoyed the taste of this glass jelly a lot, but not so for my friend. My advice is to get the hot beancurd which is its signature, and leave the rest to later orders.

My all time favourite tau huay.. Rochor Beancurd.. the beancurd is smooth with strong soya bean taste.. I love to eat this with their you char kueh too... they usually serve their beancurd hot and I personally prefer to add soya bean milk into my tua huay.Their you tiao (Chinese Fried Dough) is nice. Long thick you tiao that is fried till crispy and yet not oily. Apart from beancurd and you tiao, they also have shui jin bao, Portuguese egg tarts too.

I went with a group of friends and we ordered different types of food. I ordered their famous beancurd and Fried You Tiao. I particularly like their you tiao as they were served hot and pretty crunchy. I thought that you tiao will taste better when dipped into a cup of soya drink and so I ordered a cup of cold soya drink. It really taste great especially when the you tiao was freshly made and fried. I highly recommend Rochor beancurd to all!

I ate up the food before i could remember to take any pictures, I ordered 1 egg tart and 1 original beancurd. The egg tart was really nice, it is flacky for the dough and soft for the egg. However, i find that the egg lacked a bit of taste. The beancurd had the soyabean smell and taste, it wasnt smooth but you can taste the soyabean. Also, the syrup they gave was of the right amount to suit the amount of beancurd.

Was looking for dessert after dinner and decided to try out this quite popular beancurd stall. Beancurd was cold (i ordered the cold beancurd), smooth and sweet, was indeed a great dessert! I also had the cold soyabean drink, which was slightly too sweet for me, and i think it could be thicker, it could be due to melted ice which made it slightly diluted.

This is one of my favourite supper spot along Geylang as it's open 24 hours! Simply love the food and service here.I guess most people have already raved about their beancurd over and over again. For someone with a huge appetite like me, of course a dough stick is not enough to fill my gigantic appetite. I love their Portuguese egg tarts here too as it has a lovely, milky egg castard surrounded by the crispy crust. Tell me, what more can I ask for? This is simply heaven.

Be sure to eat some beancurd when you're at Geylang. (no pun intended! =])

The beancurd here is consistent in quality, and always delights me with its superb smoothness. Have it warm ($0.90) for the traditionalists, but you may want to have it chilled ($1) on a warm day. The beancurd is just sufficiently sweet as well.

Some members of the older generation enjoy dipping you tiao into their soya bean drink.
The crispy but practically oil-free version sold here will provide them with a nice relief from their everyday troubles, but for people who's not fond of crullers like me, the stall does sell other snacks like portugeuse egg tarts as well.

The only downside of this place would be the windy roadside location, with only a few tables and chairs for those who choose to dine in. It's not too busy, but you may find yourself having to wait for a table ocassionally.
