NOT DONE NOT DONEFor $3.50, I got one huge big bowl of tau pok soup and a bowl of rice. This stall is famous for its black chicken herbal soup but I decided to try their tau pok soup which was one of the dishes they served too. The soup was not too salty although still quite tasty and the tau pok were really soaked up with the soup. The soup was slightly herbal and cooling for the body too.

This eating house is famous for its clay pot pig trotters, pig intestine soup, crab and more and is usually packed even on weekdays. For $10 a pot, this pig trotters is rich in flavour and has a strong smell and taste of fresh vinegar. The pig trotters are boiled till soft and melts in your mouth. The vinegar sauce is not too salty and goes very well with rice. Each pot of pig trotters is served with two hard boil eggs as well and quite a good deal and worth a try! In celebration of my grandfather's birthday, we came here for dinner! The whole stretch of the road are Seng Kee stalls. It is directly beside the chicken herbal stall. Great area as it is air conditioned. The food are affordable and delicious too. Service was prompt as well. We had a few dishes. To name a few, we had vegetables, spinach with abalone slices and a plate of prawns. The spinach were delicious, fresh and soft along with abalone. Don't be mislead by the name of the restaurant, thinking it served only black herbal chicken soup. Seng Kee is exactly well known for its crab bee hoon and kidney mee sua. The crab bee hoon is served wrapped in opeh leaf.

The kidney mee sua was nice too. The herbal soup was not overpowering and was delicately flavoured with the taste of herbs.

The name of the stall 'chicken herbal soup' doesn't reflect what this stall is famous for - the mixed pork organs mee sua & kidney mee sua. Unless Taiwanese mee sua, this mee sua soup base is not as thick. The soup tastes slightly hot which I think is because the chef added lots of pepper. This place is quite packed during dinner time (it operates from 5pm daily). So, do make a reservation if you are going to dine in a big group.

We saw most people ordering the popular herbal soup with mee swa (vermicelli), liver and thinly sliced pork. We surveyed further to discover that their steamed fish and clay pot chicken in sliced ginger were also in high demand. When we tasted the soup, it had a mild herbal flavor, unlike those commonly found in medicinal soup. The sliced pork was not hard to chew and when you dipped into the light soya sauce with chilli padi, it was perfect. We also tried the steamed pomfret. The fish was steam

The fish was steamed just right to achieve a smooth texture. The sauce and toppings also complemented each another. The claypot chicken was also very well marinated. Each bite of the meat was soft and tender and adding the thick gravy to your rice. Overall, the food was great.

Came here by chance and noticed an entire stretch of eateries. Was approached by one of the hawkers and decided to go in and have a seat. Ordered a dish of black vinegar pig trotter's leg. The meat is very soft and juciy, the skin is so delicious too! The gravy is quite nice as well.

This place is highly recommended if you are looking for simple chinese fare. I would highly recommend the herbal chicken mee sua, prawn cakes and their steam fish. Prices have increased a little since a few years back (with inflation and all going on), I still love heading to this place for dinner. Do visit it if you have not yet try it.

Their mee sua is one of their signature dishes. Herbal soup base with generous serving of pork slices or pig liver. This place is usually very crowded, even on weeknights. Nevertheless, it's quite easy to find a table. The Ma You chicken is very tasty as well. It's really fragrant and as usual, they are very generous with their portion. The small claypot can serve 3-4 pax easily.

One bustling tze char at Kembangan with stretching tables and chairs all over the place, you would be blind to miss this place. Did a little research before settling down and realised that the much hype was over this soup dish, the Kidney Mee Sua soup. The soup is extremely smooth and it is not soaked with a strong pork smell. It is extremely fragrant and every sip just makes you yearn for more. The pork and kidney are so so but the noodles are cooked really nicely.A delicacy in deed!
