Beef Vegetable Value Meal - $7.90. Looks like Yoshinoya here doesn't have varied menu like in Jakarta. I didn't have many choices - hence, I chose this Value Meal, which consists of beef bowl (signature sliced beef, cabbage, long beans, and carrots over white rice), and any choice of drinks (I chose coke). Yoshinoya's beef never fails to impress me. It was so juicy, flavorful, and tender. The veggie was rather tasteless though.

Had lunch with my sister at Yoshinoya. I had the Salmon bowl ($7) which offers breaded salmon and a bowl of miso soup (the usual). This is my first time trying breaded salmon so i didn't have much expectations. The salmon is quite nice except that it is a little bit dry. But thats solved with the sauce that came with the dish.Yoshinoya always have a few bottles of seasoning at the counter or selected tables which you can then use to season your own dishes if you like to.

It is not a good choice to eat Yoshinoya when you are starving like mad. Somehow, the servings offered at Yoshinoya seems like some kids meal to me. it is just too little to fill up my stomach. Luckily, the teriyaki chicken was quite tasty and I enjoyed the sauce they drizzled over it. The sauce makes the rice and chicken tasted even better. The rice was Japanese rice so the rice will be able to better capture the sauce, making it superb!

It has been a while since I've eaten at Yoshinoya so I went for dinner here with a friend. As usual, I had my salmon bowl, and it tasted great as always. This time round, I noticed that there was a self-service kiosk. However, there was no student meal available on the system, which is something I feel that they can consider improving on. Since the purpose of the kiosk is to reduce waiting time for customers, it makes no sense for them not to include the full menu.

i suppose this is the Japanese version of chicken rice. The teriyaki chicken is nice but tastes a bit odd as well. Never had teriyaki taste this way. There are some vegetables - not as much as in the picture in the menu. Short grain rice is used in this dish. It's not cheap actually - cost around $6.50. Comes with a bowl of miso soup. The soup is pretty good with seaweed in it and not too salty. the rice is nice and tender and not clumping together. The chicken is cooked properly but there is on

At barely two dollar per bowl, this Japanese Chicken porridge sure has take the pockets of everyone. Japanese rice is used to make the porridge which make it thick and the texture is different from normal porridge. This budget porridge if I am not wrong should only be available during weekdays' breakfast hours. It is only cooked upon order. The chicken meat is tender and juicy with some skin on it. A lighty meal and can fill your stomach for a few hours, this is a very good breakfast choice for everyone. Eat it with their preserved ginger, taste good too.

Yoshinoya is a famous Japanese eatery in Singapore. You should try out the meat bowl at yoshinoya. I tried the Spicy meat bowl, which is a regular size bowl filled with nicely cooked & finely shedded spicy beef & Japanese herb rice. The portions of meat are generous & if you want to have a meal on the go, they serve you real quick By the time I placed my order & made the payment, my dish was in front of me :-). I recently saw a new outlet of Yoshinoya opened in Harbour front, will go there soon :-)

For a change I deviated from the normal beef bowl I always order at Yoshinoya. I ordered a Tofu Beef Bowl – which is just an addition of a few slices of silken tofu. While it tasted reasonably nice, I was disappointed with the few (and I mean really few) slices of tofu served. Because I ordered the meal set, it came with a drink (I had green tea). I ordered Yoshinoya’s student meal which consists of rice, salmon and vegetable. It is very healthy to be consumed and the price is reasonable and moreover, the food is not too plain and it is quite delicious. The Salmon flesh is very fresh with the mayo sauce and the typical jap rice to go along. It is nice!

Tried the Teriyaki Chicken bowl meal as well as the milk teas and miso soup. I have to say that the meals are simple and may look like an option for health-conscious individuals. For the price that you are paying, i believe that Yoshinoya offers a fuss-free option for individuals who are craving japanese meals with a tight budget.

Combo set with chicken patty and hoki fish with rice and a sprite. It makes a perfect set meal for dinner. The tender pink salmon fish in the inside is cooked perfectly with crispy bread crumbs on the outside and drizzled with tasty Salmon Mayo sauce to top it off. The chicken patty is tender and it is boneless.

Chicken teriyaki set with fry platterThis set is actually student meal which costs about $6. I like the chicken which is tender and smooth. Chicken teriyaki set with fry platter

This set is actually student meal which costs about $6.
I like the chicken which is tender and smooth. The gravy is normal teriyaki gravy, but this one is nicer coz its saltiness is just nice. The vege [brocolli, etc] is boiled with water so the sweetness remains in it.

At first i thought the bowl of rice wouldn't be enough for me as it looks small in the poster. so i ordered the bigger set which has the fry platter. [But I'm wrong, the bowl of rice already very large and I am 90% full after finish the rice.] the fry things are not bad too, not too oily and can be eat together with the rice too.

The Salmon Bowl is tasty and healthy, consisting boiled vegetables and salmon patty with mayonise sauce. This is definitely suitable for the young and old. They also served sliced chicken porridge at only $2 per bowl during breakfast and high-tea hours. Light and good! Don't forget to eat the rice with their nice ginger slices as it brings out the flavour of the food. My vedict: 6.5/10
