It was my birthday month, and got a 50% off discount for dine in at TCC. I ordered Lychee Jazz who feel very refreshing after drinking. The main course that i ordered is salmon spaghetti, which taste so gd on the smoke salmon. Not overcooked, just nice. I like to go TCC, as different oulets give you a different atmosphere. Amazonia is an indoor children's playground where there are giant slides, mosh pits filled with balls, mini golf course etc to cater for the little ones to play and enjoy. In its premises there is also a bistro, which serves a mix of Western and local food. This is where parents can sit and have their meal while their kids.I went for their food tasting and here's what we tried:Apple ...

My favourite part about this was the Maguro, the deep red colour was beautiful and it was amazingly fresh. Tasted like the usual Salmon Aburi Maki but with added crunch from the lettuce. My favourite was the Shiro Maguro (pictured above). White albacore tuna is now my favourite fish to have raw. Tasted like heaven with every bite.I'm a big foie gras fan so this was superb for m...

Wanna have some Brazilian grilled cut meats? Head on down to Carne & Caipirinha for some authentic Brazilian churrasco. An addition to the restaurants at Sunset Way, this Brazilian churrascaria is currently the one and only in Singapore that uses charcoal fire to slow roast quality meats giving them an irresistible smoky fragrance. Here at Carne & Caipirinha, they of...

Burp Kitchen & Bar? That sounds filling already. When I heard that they are located in the East, I was even more excited, because the east side is my 'hood. Less than 5 months old, their bistro is situated at a quiet corner of a bustling area (nearer to Bedok Reservoir), well known to residents around who probably shops at the nearby Sheng Siong supermarket. The host shared...

Situated at Orchard Central. The shop is really not hard to find. They often set lunches which is very convienent for excutives like us. They used brown rice instead of white so is more healthy. Thick pieces of salmon makes it more value for money. Comes with a bowl of soup and drink.

Before we begin, please remember that it is extremely excruciating for me to contain my extraordinary exuberance, especially in face of the expansive extent of excellent egg puns available whenever brunch is served. Therefore, do not be shell-shocked at the lack of pre-embryonic yolks (oops, I really meant jokes) as this review progresses. Let’s get crackin’, baby! Thanks to the lovel...

We had our family lunch at Astons Resorts World Sentosa, which is located not far from USS. I love how Astons Specialities' restaurants look 'atas', I'm sure first-timers will get surprised that the food comes at such humble prices. Iced Lemon Tea - $2.30 I had finished 3/4 of this drink even before my meal was served, so I ordered another glass. Snapp...

Refuel cafe is one the latest addition to the every growing list of cafes in Singapore. Located at Bedok Reservoir, the cafe's theme revolves around petrol, car and the likes. Decor is kept minimal with earthy tones like grey and brown, and the long glass window panes allow natural sunlight to stream in.The Latte Mocha and Hazelnut Latte ($5.80 each) was quite mild. Proba...

Went to tampines one and notice this shop having promotion is on 50% off so I went in to try their claypot porridge I was too hungry till I forgot to take the photo of my meal! So I order gong Bao frog leg to go with the porridge. The porridge is smooth and it goes well with the gong bao sauce. Basically my friend and I decided to try this place out because of all the rave reviews from well known food bloggers. We were much disappointed and I am losing faith in bloggers. I don't think the restaurant can ever price their buffet at $99.80++ (as per their pull up banner). Even at their SG50 promotion of $55++ it is a huge stretch. Here's why: 1) Meats are only ...

On a hot morning, was invited by Openrice editor for a brunch breakfast. There were eight of us and the above was the brunch menu. The view was fantastic and the staff were friendly and made us felt at home. Drinks were served promptly without asking for attention. The breeze with the smell of Singapore River was fantastic. This is my earl grey tea and Pineapple drink. It was so ...
