One thing surprising I learnt on this food review at Baan Khun Nai was, the Thai do not like spicy food. In fact, they will add sugar into most of their cuisine.The Chef from Baan Khun Nai comes from the Northeast of Thailand. Went over here for lunch. A very nice environment. This restaurant serve Thai and western food.We ordered Minced chicken with basil leaf and Thai milk tea. Their portion are just nice but they are generous with their minced chicken. you can even choose the level of spiciness from 1 to 3. We decide to go for level 1. Fried egg is a little oily thou. Thai milk tea doesn't taste so authentic but rather taste like some kopitiam milk tea. Very sweet. Mango salad taste was great. Sour and sweet.

Sawadeeka. Sabaideemai?Loving Thai food, for a month, I would have Thai food for at least thrice a month. I'm someone who can't take spicy stuff but when it comes to Thai food, everything goes into my mouth. Not knowing how to share this great food, I would say, it's never a regret coming here except for a few side notes. The first impression was the place was for chill out desserts. However, this shop is serving authentic thai food as well. Like their Thai Fried Kway Teow. It taste like a local char kway trow but it is sweeter. The serving is just right with a lot of ingredients. The vegetables serving is generous. It is too oily for my taste. I also ordered barbecue pork. However this is very salty. Recommended to eat with rice!

Had my lunch at Baan Khun Nai. Ordered Cashew Chicken set lunch. The set lunch comes with a drink and a small bowl of tom yam soup. The cashew chicken was not too spicy, rather, it was kind of sweet and goes well with the rice. . The tom yam soup was abit blend, not too spicy but the seafood was really fresh. The fried egg was also a bit too oily. Other than that , quite a decent meal for $8.

Was on my way to the Siglap Centre during the weekends and saw this shop bursting with people in the bus. Was curious and i got down the bus at Roxy Square bus stop on my way back.It was a small space in the restaurant and outside definitely has more space. There is also a menu stand outside the restaurant for passerby. It is definitely more comfortable to sit outside, although its a little hot on a afternoon.I noticed they serve ice cream as well but i didnt really have a chance to look at it.
