Had lunch with my colleagues today and we headed to Greenview Café at Far East Plaza. One of our fave places to go for lunch as it serves affordable food. My view of this place is - there's always surprises. Despite having a different menu for each day, there will occasionally be special offerings like this day where the usual menu was mushroom noodle and fried beehoon, today they had fish soup bee hoon and fried nian gao. The fish soup cost $5 though, i would say its very average, maybe its a trial on whether their recipe appeals, the soup is not sweet enough and the fish meat tasted a little too fried with too much flour. Its hard to find seats in the stall. Not only its limited but you have alot of people lining up having their food being ordered. I feel like everyone has to rush eating not what i would enjoy. So i enjoyed a bowl of laksa, dont think there was any cockles inside but i know there's 3 prawns and 1 half boiled egg. The noodles were generous and I enjoyed the gravy. The good thing about this laksa is that... the whole meal doesn't give you the overly full feeling.

This cafe at Far East Plaza is very small so be prepared to squeeze and share tables with other patrons. However their food is cheap and tastes decent so for a quick lunch you can try here. I had their Laksa and it was surprisingly very tasty. The taste was not too overwhelming of coconut and the spice level was just nice for someone like me who can't take too spicy food. There isn't a lot of ingredients or cockles but it was quite filling.

Decided (or more like forced) to go for the healthier lunch option as I was unwell, I opted for the Mee Hoon Kuay with soup. The soup is clear but holds enough flavour to make it quite nice. I didn't fancy the kway as they were a tad too soft but then better than uncooked ones. They have a seafood option and a minced meat option. I had the minced meat choice, and they added veggies and ikan bilis. Simple, cheap and decent food.

I went to Greenview for Laksa as I was craving for Laksa. First thought of my mind was going to Greenview. They serve daily different dishes and dessert which you get to pick. This food place is always crowded, located at a corner in Far East Plaza and you have to wait for a while to get a seat. The Laksa is really good in my opinion. I really like the fragrant and soup of the Laksa. I will go back to have the Laksa again.

Sometimes, a simple lunch is the best kind. Had fishball noodle at this small little place at Far East Plaza. This place is very small so do expect to rub elbows with other patrons. The fishball is very nice! It's springy and light and doesn't taste "fishy" at all. The noodles are cooked well and mixed with some vegetables and bittergourd, you have yourself a pretty healthy and cheap lunch ($3.50)!

As I had a craving to eat fried prawn mee, hence I decided to have my dinner at Greenview cafe. For $4.50, it came with 2 prawns and the portion was rather huge in size and it indeed made me very full after my meal. However I was very disappointed that their fried prawn mee tasted bland and tasteless. It simply does not have the taste or smell of a normal fried prawn mee. I did not enjoy my meal at all.

As I had a craving for Beef Hor Fun, I decided to stop by Greenview Cafe for a quick dinner before heading back to office to do some overtime work. The cafe is located at a corner of Far East Plaza. It is a very plain and simple looking cafe with little decoration. Although the cafe has 2 outlets, but both outlets are small and can only accommodate a maximum of 7 tables each or lesser. The plate of Beef Hor Fun cost me $5 and my Coke soft drink cost $1.40. In total my dinner cost $6.40. Here's

Green View Cafe is one of my past lunch places when I was still working in town. I try brought my friends to Green View Cafe to try some of their nice dishes! Thursday - pig intestine soup! However, its sold out! SAD. In the end, I ordered handmade noodles ($4) while my two friends ordered seafood horfun ($4.50) and minced meat mee sua ($4). The serving was generous and the price was reasonable in town area. Do come here for your lunch or dinner if you wanna have some cheap and really nice food

as usual, decided to come here for lunch.ordered the lemon barley,which tastes like lemon juice.it's extremely sour!next, is the seafood horfun ..extremely tasteless..the fish fillet has a very strong fishy smell.the prawn is not fresh.. very soggy..u can barely taste anything of sauce..doubt i will come back again for their horfun and lemon barely..strongly not recommended..this meal cost me $6

TGIF!this shop is having their Friday specialty! had their chicken chop noodles with a can of green tea,which costs me $5.90..feels that it is acceptable in Orchard area.this is the soup that comes with the noodles.looks oily from the picture, but it isn't..taste like 'bah kut teh'..nice nice! here comes the noodles,it is more like those 'lor mee' noodles,they have a special sauce to go with it,not too salty..the chicken is very crispy,not oily at all too..do try it out k?

This is my 3rd visit to Green View at Far East Plaza for lunch.Have to be early if you want to have lunch here. Limited seating.Decided to try their Salted Fish Fried Rice.Cost. $4.00. G?uess this the price for all toher stall at Far East Plaza that is selling this type of fried rice.My order came fast. 10min waiting time.The protion don't really look much.But when you start to eat. 2nd time here..decided to eat Fried Hokkien Mee, the portion is worth the price paid.. Indeed, it's yummy! am done with cough & sore throat, so ordered honey lemon, it has a very strong lemon taste than honey which i like it, cox i dislike honey the prawns are fresh and chewy, not overcooked and for the squid, it is very 'Q'. somehow, seems to be addidcted to this place for lunch.the service crew are fast in taking orders too!

My second review for this place.Today lunch special is Chicken Chop with noodle or rice.I order the chicken chop with rice.Seating is limited so you will need to come early before lunch if you want to have good seating area.Come the food.
