Lai Lai Casual Dining (已結業)

Beef noodle (small $7.5)the noodle is really nice, very chewy and spongy. As what taiwanese says, the noodle is very Q! I prefer the dry one coz the sauce given is thicker and more flavourful. I eat quite heavily. If you don like dry one, but you hope to taste stronger taste, you can order the dry one also and pour in the soup given. The beef is tender and flavourful. My friends says this bowl of noodle is so-so only but i actually think that it's great!

Basically the "lai lai" is maybe "come come" in English. It is to invite people to come in the restaurant and have a try. So yeah during evening time at about 7.30, the occupancy level was high but I am surprised that the waiter manage to arrange a table seating promptly. Kudos for the service. Went there for dinner with friends. I had ordered Beef Noodles. The soup is not oily at all and certainly goes well with the noodle. The beef chunks, which is the soul of the whole dish, is cooked to just the correct tenderness, unlike some other beef chunks I had eaten in the past that is hard and dry. Im not a huge fan of beef noodles, but I thought the beef noodles served at Lai Lai Casual Dining is awesome. The beef is very nicely marinated and is very chewy. The soup is very flavourful and you can even taste abit of the herbs taste. Very fresh ingredients. Great lunch at Lai Lai Casual Dining!

This outlet of Lai Lai is located at the ground floor of NEX near to the bus stop. Its wasn't very crowded at the time we visited which was in the afternoon. I decided to try something new when i went to lai lai causal dining for dinner the other day. everytime i will order their mee sua or minced meat rice, but this time i decided to try their herbal pork rib udon. i realised i have been missing out a lot in life. it was so delicious. the sauce is thick yet not too salty. the herbal taste is not too overpowering. the pork ribs were very tender as well. why didn't i try this earlier?!?!

I was meeting up with a friend at nex and decided to go for the lunch sets available at Lai Lai Casual Dining because the pictures were so tempting. I ordered the set with stew beef and some side dishes. It came with rice and a drink. The veggies was nice, not overcooked and very fresh. Not overly salty. Since we were at Nex, we decided to drop into Lai Lai Causal Dining for the weekday lunch promotion. This time round, I had the hot milk tea with pearls and the curry rice with fried fish fillet. I must say the fish fillet was the best part as it was thick with lots of fish meat. It was crispy on the outside yet tender and moist inside.
