Was looking for a place for a good lunch with my mum after shopping at Compass Point and saw the new poster for Swensen's, the new Boston Lobster Roll! Looks pretty delicious, thus decided to give it a try. If you are one who likes thick and creamy mushroom soup, you would definitely need to try out at Swensen's! They serves one of the thickest mushroom soup I ever had. Surprisingly, my mum loves its mushroom soup, thus its a must order everytime we visit Swensen's. As for me, would just say tha

 If you are one who likes thick and creamy mushroom soup, you would definitely need to try out at Swensen's! They serves one of the thickest mushroom soup I ever had. Surprisingly, my mum loves its mushroom soup, thus its a must order everytime we visit Swensen's. As for me, would just say that its far too normal, the baguette that holds the mushroom soup is also way too hard to chew.

 Mummy decided to opt for something that is more heavy, the cornflake chicken! This is one of my favourites at Swensen's, although its a little too dry and the cornflake flavour is rather too little. Fries at Swensen's is one of my biggest nightmare. They chose to serve thick fries, thus for those who loves those shoestring fries will love this. As for those who loves those criss-cut or straight fries will not like it. The coleslaw, without fail will always refresh my mind, with the pieces of pineapple and sauce added to the mixed vegetables and carrots.

 The limelight of the day! The Boston Lobster Roll. The portion might seems small on the picture, but its rather filling! Chunks of boston lobsters, with a sweet yet little spicy sauce, mixed well with the slightly toasted bun. The only complain I could have is its presentation. I would say its not really convenient to eat especially with fork and knife. 

All in all, spent a total of $49 after 17% charges. Fufilling lunch indeed!

It had been quite a while since i patronized Swensen's. I can still vividly remembered that not just they served good ice creams , they also served good food. However, my recent visit to Swensen's proved me wrong. Deep Fried Shitake Mushrooms - I guess the mushroom were over fried. It was quite dry and cant really taste the mushroom flavour. What are your views on ice cream cakes? Well, during our primary school days, we would always look forward to eating ice cream cake instead of cakes for Birthday or Teacher's Day as it was something unique, different from what we usually eat.Tab's family bought 3 cakes for her 30th birthday and out of these 3 cakes, 2 were ice cream cake.Quite a pretty cake!To be frank, we would prefer to eat Swensen's ice cream rather than the ice cream cake as the texture of the cake is not as smooth.  To be frank, we would prefer to eat Swensen's ice cream rather than the ice cream cake as the texture of the cake is not as smooth. Frozen cakes tends to be hard but this cake's texture is course, which is why we would prefer to eat the ice-cream. Overall verdict: Not that fantastic though...

We thought that eating normal cakes for birthdays is too mainstream, so for a change, why not order an ice-cream cake? Service: When I rang up to check any credit card or any special card for discount their reply is no. Until I had ordered the cake and I receive my passion card mailer that it has a discount for the birthday month.Tips: Use passion card for the birthday month to have discount but cannot order it online. Tips: Use passion card for the birthday month to have discount but cannot order it online. Request for more dry ice to make the cake with the smoky feeling( mix dry ice with water). Metal knife is required to cut the cake.

Ice-cream cake: Min 1kg. 
Flavour order: Thin Mint & Strawberry Sherbet.Combination of both is perfect as it is not sweet. 
The mint is strong. Sherbet is really sour.

I was shopping for birthday gift at Compass Point and decided to buy dinner there as well.Black pepper seafood pasta $15.90++This is surprisingly good. The spaghetti was done al dente and the peppery sauce was rather spicy and has kick. Coupled with mid sized mussels, generous serving of fish cubes, crabstick and mushrooms...a satisfying dish. Fried breaded mushrooms $6.40++Crispy outer coating with soft and juicy shitake mushroom inside, plus the creamy tartar sauce dip...very yummy.

Saw something new in the menu today...Crispy Cornflake chicken. The description read 'Back by popular demand' and the photo looks really enticing. So I ordered this and a Rodeo wings for dinner.Crispy Cornflake chicken $15.50++It looks over-fried than the one shown on the menu but it isn't! The batter was really crispy and the chicken meat was surprisingly uber juicy and tender! Check out the meat juice!Rodeo wings $9.00++These were delish as usual, no need dipping sauce...yummy on its own!

Went there for dinner with my family,food wise - chicken chop ~ there's a slice of lemon with some garlic on top but we never try,the chicken was just normal,not very nice & not tender fish & chip - it tasted a lot better than the chicken chop ,but fish was not very fresh,Chendol ice cream- i didn't know that they have so many kinds of ice cream & chendol sound interesting so we tried it,but was quite disappointed,it did taste like real chendol but the coconut was weird & very sweetWaiting time-

Waiting time- we waited about 20mins,when the staff bring us in,we realize that there's actually a lot of empty seat inside but they never clear the table,that why we need to wait for so long,for food waiting time,it took about 15mins
service- i don't think their service is good,my mum took a voucher,we ask the manager & the way she talk to us was quite rude,while we enter,we told them there's 4 of us,but she still just gave us 3 cup of water only ,they need to improve their service

Had the mega burger for dinner because I was told that the portion is enough to feed 2 skinny girls. Decided to challenge it and indeed, the portion is so big that it’s even bigger than my palm. Comes with a thick beef patty, a sunny side up, turkey bacon and the usual veggies. I like the well-done-ness of the beef patty and the juice inside the meat is still there thus it doesn’t taste dry at all. The sunny side up is a little overcooked, and I would prefer it to be still runny in the yolk. Ser

It is hard to go wrong with swensen's when you are craving for some sundae; its ice cream is even better than joints like marble slab, and presentation wise, it was also delightful. I ordered The Rock - 3 of their signature ice cream, Rocky Road, Hazelnut and Cookies 'N' Cream; also comes with 2 sticks of wafers. This combination of ice cream flavours is pretty good; my favourite of the three is the hazelnut one, fragrant, not too sweet, and not as 'jelat' ad Rocky Road.

I got to try Swensen's rodeo beef baked rice during their lunch time offer. Yup, it is good! The beef is thick and the sauce is good.It is not spicy so good for those who cannot take chilli. The whole dish is overflowing from the sides. A really sumptious meal! Price is around $12 But worth it!

This is the beef lasagna from Swensens! I am a big fan of lasagna so everywhere I go, I would consider their lasagna. Swensen's lasagna comes with crisps on top that I do not like. The crisps feel out of place. However, the main pasta comes with beef and chives sandwiched in between. Delicious! Rough price is around $11!

I waited for about 15 mins for the food to be served after ordering, even though there weren't many customers in the restaurant. The pasta dish was not too bad actually. The teriyaki chicken wasn't too bad, in fact the teriyaki sauce is rather flavourful and goes well with the bland spaghetti. The portions served here are rather big, but cooking time for some reason is a little too long. Drop by Swensen's if you are willing to wait for your food.

I always have a problem finishing up my food at Swensen as i personally find that their portion are too huge. It is great that they allow me to have kids meal even though i'm already an adult. *Shy* We are taught not to waste food anyway! I had beef mini and it comes in adorable sizes. It is real delicious! The star shaped potato are nicely fried and the beef burgers are so fragrant. The beef is really tender and juicy. It only cost me $6.50 for this. Best part, i didn't waste food at all!

I ordered the “All-Time Favourite”, the mega burger. The food came about 15 minutes later. We were already satisfied at the ample servings. The displays were appetizing too. The mega burger was a surprising winner and knock out this skeptic that “burgers whoa me no more”. Swensens’ version is ambitious. Have my meal at swensen with my parents. I would say that the place is not very packed despite it was meal time. We ordered a main each for us and a pizza as sides for our meal.So this is the meal. I ordered a seafood platter and it taste really normal. Its not worth the price i would say. 2 plates of pasta from my mum and dad. Mum ordered a softshell crab pasta which is really tasty.
