She was like preparing for war, whereby you keep ample supply of food but in this case beancurd!

My first question to her: Do you think you can finish it before it expire as beancurd lifespan is pretty short. Amazingly, she managed to clear it!

Looking at the bulk purchase, I guess I don't have to describe how nice it is...!

Lao Ban just has the magical spell!

This was my first time trying lao ban beancurd after hearing so much raved reviews about it, so i bought 9 at one go to share with my family. Yes indeed it was very good, there isn't any sugar syrup which makes it very unique compared to the other bean curds out there. It is also very smooth and it kind of melts in your mouth. The first mouth of it had me lingering for more and i can totally understand why it is so popular now. But do go early to queue up as the people who are in the queue usual

This Lao Ban Tau Huey is very smooth, in fact, it is the smoothest tao huey i have ever eaten. However, there is a little almond taste in it which i do not like. The first mouthful of the tao huey is refreshing(it is served cold) but after that, i start to get sick of the taste. It is indeed different from the other tao huey given that it has no sugar water. The service is fast and good.

Brought 1 of the normal and almond flavour for $1.50 and $2 respectively. What so different about this beancurd from the traditional beancurd is that the Lao Ban beancurd do not have the sugar syrup with the beancurd. The price is also very reasonable, also accept advance order with a minimum of 10 and is a very good choice for dessert after dinner. SHOIK TO THE MAX AND A MUST TRY !!

This place sells one of my favourite desserts ever!! Their beancurd! Their beancurd is smooth and silky and absolutely delicious! It tastes more like milkcurd though. I love to suck the beancurd and feel it melt in the mouth. The great tasting and nutritious bean curd is a great snack for everyone!

my boss bought this for us to try. never heard of this brand before but according to him, this brand is quite famous. we got to try the almond and original flavour, personally i prefer original cause not really into the almond taste. I would not say the bean curd is super nice but i have to agree that is very smooth compared to those we got from the market. another plus point is that the bean curd is not too sweet =)

We waited for around 45mins before it get to our turn>.<! we bought 3 normal soya bean curd and one almond flavoured one.

The taste of it prove it is worth the wait;D it has a really unique taste that can’t be found in any of the soya bean curd found elsewhere. The texture is so smooth and silky, and it seems to melt in my mouth & swallowing it simply is so easy;D

The taste was really special. It has a moderate sweet taste with fresh bean curd and I just don’t know what ingredients they add in their soya bean curd to make it so nice and delicious.
I just crave for more after finishing my share:x
The same goes for the almond flavour soya bean curd.
Can’t wait to have it again;D

My whole family loves lao pan’s beancurd. Normally on weekends, my dad and my mum would drive to the old airport market for breakfast and da bao their beancurd for me and my sister. The soya beancurd is just so delicious. very smooth, it simply glides down your throat. the syrup is not too sweet as well. Unlike some beancurd, the syrup does not leave an aftertaste in your throat. I really enjoy this!

Luckily I didn't have to queue for long to get some of this bean curd as i got there before peak hour.I tried the almond ones and the original. The taste is alright. Not very soy beany. I think people get it for the texture. it has a silky texture, like a soft silky pudding. Probably due to adding some gelatine or agar in it to set it. It is obviously not just plain soy bean as it's not "cut" like normal soy bean. it is "set" in the tub, like it's been poured in and set in the fridge. It's quite sweet, so there's no sugar syrup on top. The sugar is mixed into the "pudding".

It's not really bean curd as such. Definitely more a pudding.

The service is polite and fast and people tend to get truckloads since they lined up for so long.

Overall, not a fan of the taste, but the texture is smooth. i prefer a wholesome, true and honest, real soy bean curd. Preferably organic too! Passable. Not really worth lining up for! It's pretty cheap at $2++ per tub depending on flavour.

My hall was having a supper delivery for Lao Ban Soya Beancurds and I decided to order one. It sounded so unique! It was not egg tarts but bean curd tarts! When I bit into my first tart, the fragrance of almond wafted on my tongue. The beancurd tart was crumbly and delicious. That hint of almond essence in the tart really made the tart so tasty and unique.

Was astonish by the queue and decided to queue up. It took me practically 40 minutes to wait for my turn. Everyone was like buying more than 10 bowls. Ordered a almond ($2) and a original beancurd ($1.50).The taste was worth queuing. It tastes like jelly and it is more dense. My preference has to go to the original. The almond taste covers off the original taste. The original beancurd is worth another bowl, which I regretted not buying more than one.

I love good bean curd! But only the silky smooth, white, fresh ones that glide down your throat easily. The ones from Lao Pan do. I have always thought of it as breakfast or supper food. It is as nutritious as steamed fish could be, with the amount of protein but at lower cost. I like my beancurd warm, with little or no syrup.

If you think taking away 6 beancurds is crazy, those who take away 3 bags or even more of 6 are even crazier!

After about 30 minutes or slightly more my sis came back with:

Then she said "wow, I take away 6 consider moderate, there are a lot of people taking away 3 or even more bags of 6! The boss look very young too!"

So I took a peek at this magnetic attraction stall:

Price: $1.50

2 flavours: Original or almond

Rocher Beancurd is no longer the best, this is the ultimate best beancurb stall! Their beancurd is very unique, they don't add sugar syrup in it. Instead they used pure soya bean drink to make the beancurb. The beancurd is very sleek! The taste of it is as though you are having oatmeal.

This is the beancurd that you wish to have it daily!
