It is very rainy and cold these few days, so I decided to get a beancurd with tangyuan as dessert on my way home after work. There is a choice of the flavours of tangyuan, and I chose two peanut and one red bean. The beancurd still retains the heat even after I ate it one hour later which is good. The beancurd is the soft and wobbly type and it is silky smooth. As the tangyuan is sweet, I had requested for less sugar syrup for my beancurd which turns out to be the right choice when I pair it together to eat. The tangyuan are those generic supermarket tangyuans so there is nothing special about it unlike those handmade ones in some dessert stalls. Overall, it is a good choice for a cold day.

Azuki bean is more commonly known as red bean. The red bean paste used as the filling of their pancake was not those smooth and pureed type but you can still find the whole red beans inside. I like the texture of the paste and most importantly it was not overly sweet! The staff were also very pleasant and enthusiastically showing me their CNY cookies.

I had a sudden craving for beancurd and the nearest and most convenient place to get it was Mr Bean. Even though I know it is expensive as compared to buying from hawker centres, I bought it anyway as I remembered it was quite nice. You can also request for less sugar syrup if you like it to be healthier like I did.

Mr Bean has always been favourite go-to place to get my soybean/tauhway fix when I'm in town/malls. At $1.40 a cup for the soya bean, some may argue that it's a tad pricey comparing to hawker centre stalls that also made fresh soya bean at possible (nearly) half the price. This cup of warm soya bean is smooth and milky and tastes very comforting. You also get to choose your sugar level -I chose mine at 50%, not too sweet, just nice. You would wanna try the pancakes too -with a purchase of the soy

You would wanna try the pancakes too -with a purchase of the soya milk you get a pancake at just $1. The cheese pancake is really good (better than youd expect -full of cream cheese inside).

I was in Orchard & it was my evening tea time. I just spotted Mr. Bean & decided to hae a soya milk. I ordered for a plain soya milk, warm, with 30% sugar levels. It was super refreshing, it was lightly warm, mildly sweet & was a bland soya milk, but it was so unlike the packaged Soya milk & tasted much better & finer. It costed about 1.3- 1.5 $ only. It is an awesome choice for a light refreshing milky drink.

love the bean curds here. fresh and tasty. at times there is a powdery texture. prefer mr bean to most other bean curd places. the bean curds here are usually smooth and silky. prefer the curds in large pieces and not small pieces. friendly staff. fast and efficient. love their pastry too. wish they still had the green tea flavour - now there is only pineapple and green bean. don't remember exact price - around $1.50 for the bean curd. the photo shows the close up of the bean curds

The first time I have tried the pineapple biscuit from Mr Bean is when 1 of my friend brought it to school and gave me one when I kind of not having my breakfast yet. I Had a craving for a bean drink, just then, I spotted a Mr. Bean. I saw Bandung placed on the counter & decided to try it out. So i asked for 1 bandung with pearls & it was served to me immediately. I sipped it, being a bit apprehensive, since I am not so fond of Soya milk. But thankfully, it tasted like any other Bandung. Though it was a soya milk Bandung, yet I couldn't tell that it was a Soya. It has the rose flavour, the sweetness was just right, the pearls with nice & chewy, it was perfect

I loved it & enjoyed it as it made me feel refreshed & the pearls made me feel full :-). Im a Bandung fan now.

I stopped by Mr bean to get a pancake for myself to eat at home since I was feeling slightly hungry. Nowadays there are much more flavours available like the milo flavour and custard. I decided to get the red bean flavour. I am quite sure that the last time I bought it, it isn't so sweet. The red bean seemed to be exceptionally sweet today, and I didn't like it. The sweetness has overwhelmed the red bean taste and it is as though I am eating sugar pancake and not red bean pancake. I hope this is

had the hot bean curd. it's pretty good but the standards seem to have dropped as it used to be smoother. the bean curb here these days are a bit chalky and powdery. but otherwise it's not too bad. the service is fast, polite and efficient. i like that it comes in a paper bowl and not plastic as i don't like hot plastic. i prefer mr bean over jollibean as jollibean doesn't really have a bean curdy originality with all their fusion stuff. mr bean is more traditional. reasonable pricing.

This is Soy Ice cream in Cone that cost only $1.50! which is healthier than those chocolate types because this is companied by soya! And look how tall the person swirl the icecream to, and only worth $1.50! It is 4 swirl plus the tip, haha compared to the icecream of $0.70, it is surely more worth it!And i liked their service over there, they are polite and efficient.

I love the Ice Cream at Mr Bean and not any others for the particular love of Soya! You should try if you haven't because i thought was just normal kind of icecream, but the soya is really nice and tempts you want to eat it againSomemore they are healthy. Ha, for a period of time, they only have Chocolate flavours, for $2. And the normal flavour is $1.50 for cone and $1.80 for cup !Enjoy your day at Mr Bean! Not forgetting their Ice-Blended Soya with Pearls! (!)

I don't usually drink soya milk after lunch since soya milk can be quite filling but I just thought I would get one cup for myself to bring home since I was already going to help my friend get one cup. I guess I had too high expectations but I was quite underwhelmed with the taste at Mr. Bean. Based on the other reviews I was expecting to be in for a yummy snack. At first I wanted to order a soy bean ice cream cone and a hot unsweetened soy milk to take away. After trying the ice cream though, I decided to skip the ice cream as it was very sweet and not my cup of tea. If you love sweet food though you should go for it, the texture is nice and velvety. The 'hot' soy milk was lukewarm at best but

The 'hot' soy milk was lukewarm at best but I couldn't be bothered to go back and ask for reheating it. The bean taste was a bit too strong for me but I guess there is no right or wrong - those who are into the flavour will enjoy it.
I will give Mr. Bean another chance and try their pan cakes next time.

I try to make myself get a cup of soy milk on the go, when I'm thirsty sometimes. It's good for its richness in protein, thirst-quenching and can be served as a dessert for me. This time I ordered the cold soy milk. It was yummy. The aunties were very friendly too.
