I always eat Korean food at Koufu that i decided to get the Kaki Tamago from the Japanese food stall. Anyway i ordered the Kaki Tamago - Chicken ($3.60). Its actually omelet with meat cooked oyster omelete style. 😜 and of course with the special thick sauce that they use.But you can hardly see the chicken meat in it. Its all hidden inside the egg omelet. Anyway when i was carrying this back to my seat it keeps splattering. (Warning)This is cooked on the spot and so its piping hot! Served with mi

This is cooked on the spot and so its piping hot! Served with miso soup and a bowl of rice, really filling. The meat is also relatively tender but i just wish there was more meat.

There's many different cuisines to choose from at my school's Koufu and I had decided to go with Japanese this time and got their Grilled Salmon Don ($3.90)! The salmon was nicely grilled and not overcooked like the one I've tried years ago and this time, the fish was fresh too. The soy sauce and egg that goes with it are also quite delicious. The price is also reasonable for its portion.

My friend ate the kaki fuyong chicken which he found it was really nice especially the sauce. I have try the sauce and the chicken too and was the best.I ate the lemon sauce with salmon. It was nice however i don't like the lemon sauce which was too much. It is really a nice experience eating at school with such a good quality in food. The price was not too expensive too.

Love their Japanese rice.
Curry was not spicy, tasted a little sweet and blends quite well with the fillet.
Fried fillet was not bad, quite nice.
Miso soup was not as nice as expected. But don't expect so much from school food!
Overall, the whole set was quite delicious~~

Price: Approximately $3
Crispy and yummy. Great taste with or without the lemon juice.
Yummy!!!

Will come back again. By the way, I like their Kaki Tamago also!!!
Good service, great environment. However, during lunch hour, it's very difficult to find a seat in Koufu

Went to have dinner at koufu with friends. As it had been a long time I never ordered food from Japanese stall at Koufu, so I decided to try the chicken curry rice.I like the potato served very much!! The chicken was tender and moist. The curry was sweet but the sweetness was just nice for me. But I do not like the miso soup served as for me, I dislike the taste of miso. Will pay a visit to the stall recently.

It has been quite a long time I never ordered from japanese stall at Koufu...It was lunch time and I decided to try out something different...the japanese curry. Haha it taste so different from the malay's curry! It is sweet instead of spicy and the carrot and potato make it even sweeter. I think it is not bad for people who could not take too spicy food Overall, it taste quite nice and the chicken is very tender.

fried fish curry rice setThis is not that bad though. But very normal. I would like to have curry chicken don at south canteen NYP which is cheaper than here. The curry is not nice, like some paste without curry taste. Even though they said , their jap food is the cheap one but i feel that there is not completely right... but with this amount of money you cant demand for more..

Ask any student from NYP what drink is the best and they'd surely recommend you Koufu Teh Bing ($0.90). I heard that SP sells the teh bing for $1.00, anyway their teh bing is really smooth, it's a perfect measure of tea and milk!Ordered Tempura Udon from the Japanese store at the far end of the Koufu foodcourt, and the uncle gave really good service. He asked whether I'd want to seperate the prawn from the Udon and I said okay! I was quite disappointed that the chawwanmushi (sold at $1 ea) was s

I was quite disappointed that the chawwanmushi (sold at $1 ea) was sold out, it's always sold out before evening because it's really delicious.
The udon noodles was okay, the sauce had no hint of any taste from Japan but rather like water with soya sauce. Fish cake tasted like chinese food, so I guess it's just eating Chinese japanese-looking food. Cost me $4.5

NYP's south canteen is my favourite canteen in NYP. Because there have lots of food. The japanese stall always have a long queues.Because it is nice. The egg is very nice, and the chicken is soft, tender and flavourful. The sauce they use is a bit sweet. So it is nice when mix with the rice. But i not really like the miso soup,it is too salty for me. The combination of the rice, chicken, egg and soup is really good. I like it.

Went to have lunch and decided on having japanese cuisine for the day There's this promo on $5 i think for the combo of fried katsu and salmon bento meal I love to order this as it's considered cheap! What's more it comes with a bowl of seaweed miso soup. I didn't eat the pickles as i don't like sour stuff. As for the rice, i think it goes best with the black sesame seeds on top. It was at the counter for us to add ourselves Lucky me, since i love it i always make it a point to add alot on my r

I ordered the pork don from the Japanese Cuisine store at Koufu. It costs $4.50 for the meal and was served in a generous portion. The pork was crispy and tender and tasted great eaten with the egg and rice. It could be better if the onions toppings were lesser.

I have ordered the mushroom hotplate set for lunch. The set comes with a bowl of rice (sadly no seaweed or black sesame topping), miso soup, salad, and the main. The mushroom hotplate tastes not too bad. Eventhough I reckon the black pepper flavour is over-powdering, the fresh mushroom are actually quite nice to bite on.
