Bakerzin starts out as Baker Inn and over the years it has changed alot from a bakery cafe. The outlet at Northpoint is decorated in a modern and stylish look with see through chairs and sofa seats. Recently it updates its menu. The menu seems to be more focus on pasta dishes now. I could not even find its signature otak ciabatta in the menu. Looking through the menu, I decide to try a couple of the new dishes. Service is not bad and food is served rather quickly. Great for those who need to cat

 Veggie Quiche ($13.50++)
The quiche has a rather thin and buttery crust filled with layers of mushrooms, zucchini, spinach, cherry tomatoes, egg custard and Parmesan cheese. It is amazing how such a thin and light pie can hold so much filling. The quiche is served with mesclun in house dressing.

 For the tea, Bakerzin has a limited selection from TWG Tea priced from $6.90++ to $8.00++. I selected Vanilla Bourbon ($6.90++) which tastes quite light and flavourful.

 For dessert, there is Sweet Corn Panna Cotta ($10.50++). The crunchy freeze-dried corn topped sweet corn panna cotta is quite smooth and not too sweet. But the lemon madeleine sponge below it, tastes too dry. The popcorn that served with it tastes rather flat and lack of crunch. It would be better to leave out the popcorn.

Overall the food is not bad, but a bit on the high side.

For $88, you get two boxes of 8 Mao Shan Wang Durian Snow Skin Mini Mooncakes (worth $145.52). Each mooncake has a thin skin covering a rich paste made from premium Mao Shan Wang durian. Each box has 2 tier of trays with 8 mini mooncakes that are perfect individually packed and are best served chilled. i bought the all day set promotion, cost 17.9++ include one appetizer, one main course and one drink. Very nice and dilicious. Not only this, the enviornmrnt there is good,i like. Will go again. Especially like their macarrons, very soft and not so sweet.see photoes.

 Mushroom Tartine ($12.90++)
A mixture of mushrooms sautéed in butter, garlic, herbs and served on a slice of toasted homemade Country Bread.
The toasts are abit too hard and dry, which I have a hard time chewing them. The sauteed mushrooms could use abit more of garlic.

Overall food is average. The service here is quite a let-down. Have a hard time getting the staff to take our order, as well as, getting our bills.

Got the tiramisu cake from my landlord. The tiramisu is really fine and moist and i love the consistency of the overall texture. The flavour is rich with coffee and kahlua taste, topped with cocoa powder with a little bitterness. i love this cake as it is not too sweet to my liking. I put this cake overnight in the fridge and yet it is still so delicious. Thumbs up, i think Bakerzin has improved since last time i tried their cake.

The FoodOne thing I love about Bakerzin is the free-flow of bread and can choose to toast them manually at the toaster and have them crispy or have them chewy without toasting. Accompanied by olive oil and balsamic vinegar, the bread was fantastic when dipped with the pumpkin soup.I ordered the Teriyaki Chicken set meal served with Pumpkin soup and Ice Tea ($10.90). The Food
One thing I love about Bakerzin is the free-flow of bread and can choose to toast them manually at the toaster and have them crispy or have them chewy without toasting. Accompanied by olive oil and balsamic vinegar, the bread was fantastic when dipped with the pumpkin soup.
I ordered the Teriyaki Chicken set meal served with Pumpkin soup and Ice Tea ($10.90). Even though the sushi rice was a little dry but it was very filling probably from the bread that I have ate earlier. The Teriyaki Chicken was pretty sweet, tender and well marinated and the pumpkin soup taste very nice, thick and full of fresh pumpkin flavour.
I also ordered the Baileys Irish Cream souffle ($8.80) and that must have been the nicest dessert I ever had. It looks like a sponge cake but tastes like foam that melts in your mouth. The sweetness also just nice

The Price
Reasonably priced at $20++ for the whole bill

Overall
I will definitely come back again to try their other desserts, with eyes on their Creme Brulee and highly recommended to try this!

Bought this Oreo Cheese Cake from Bakerzin and it was definitely not a disappointing one. I personally don't really like eating cheese cakes as most of them are too cheesy and sticky. However, for this Oreo Cheese Cake, I wouldn't even mind eating a few pieces more as it's not too cheesy and sticky. Perhaps is because the taste of the Oreo is much more stronger.I think that the price is much more pricey as compared to the cheese cakes that are sold in other places. However, to me, quality of foo

Souffle is one of the dessert that is the most difficult to make.
It is easy to success at the same time also easy to fail.
Because they didnt use egg yolk.
It was high risen and fluffy when serve,and must finish it fast. If not i will become flat and low.
I like the soft texture, it taste like mousse,the dark choco taste is also nice.

Headed to Yishun for unfinished business with my friend yesterday after I back from JB. The timing was just nice for dinner and she wanted to treat me dessert. So we headed to Bakerzin. Menu list can be found from the website as well. Since she needs to be back home for homecook dinner, I opt for Chef’s salad from the menu list. Slivers of honey baked ham, roast beef, turkey, Spanish red onions, dried cranberries and walnuts tossed with a homemade dressing and topped with a hard-boiled egg. You can have the crunchy bites when u bite the walnuts, the lettuce with the baked ham, roast beef, turkey and the red onions blew me away. I don’t like the taste of the onions but the smell and taste of the onion is able to cover up with the combination. Totally not dried at all. Seatfu loves the walnuts especially.

 Dessert is a must to cheer one’s mood. Especially chocolate as it is my favourite for all time. We decided to go for Warm Chocolate Cake @ S$11.50 per serving. The service staff informed us that the serving time takes approximately 10-15 minutes for this dessert.

It’s Bakerzin signature molten chocolate cake served with homemade vanilla ice-cream and fresh berries. The presentation is nice but not the vanilla ice-cream. It was melting when it is served. I believe that it has been placed a while before they served it out to us. The taste does not disappoint us though with the combination.

 It was a pleasant dinner with great companion.We had a good catch up session over the dinner. The staff are friendly to the customers and they put on smile when they attend to us.

Definitely a good place to dine in and have a long conversation with buddies and friends.

Bakerzin's Tiramisu cake has layers and they have distint flavours on each layer. They are soft at the cheese (white) part and the brown layer is the sponge lady fingers which i guessed they have dipped with some alcohol and espresso which gaves me a little bit of sweet taste. It tasted good with the great service over there though it is kind of packed ! (: good day !

Souffle is one of the dessert that I always wish to try but have no idea where to try on. this chocolate souffle was high risen and fluffy when serve, but it become flat and low after i have taken photos of it. the texture is soft and mousse-like, i would have feel giddy because i dont like moussey thing, but the chocolate flavours make me feels better. the purple one is the blueberry flavour while the orange one is orange and chocolate flavour. I am in love with macaroon since i have tried TWG's macaroon and this one from Bakerzin isn't that bad too, just that the flavours are not too special and creative, unlike TWG's which uses tea flavour. However I love the combination of orange and chocolate one, sweet with a tinge of sourish taste.

the cream brulee isn't my favourite, just that my friend has the craving of it so we happened to share among two of us. But it really surprise me, the crust is caramelised with brown sugar, very crispy and fragrant with caramelised flavour. the bottom one is eggy, milky and fluffy mousse-like thing, which i could accept it! (i don't like milky soft thing) The berries on top added some appetizing and sourish effect which makes me dont feel giddy.

Bratwurst is one kind of German Sausage if I am not wrong. The sausage is very well cooked, grilled to perfection and i love the plasticy but crunchy skin. The lnguine is aglio olio style, fried with some soy sauce with a little bit char flavour. Quite a nice pasta indeed.

This dessert actually took some time to serve after my main course.I guess the brownie is just baked and then served coz it's still hot!This cake is very very nice. Thick choco taste with very smooth texture.The sweetness is just right and the wetness too.As it is not too dry, it wont split into small pieces when i cut it.It is like eating the thick choco syrup.Very nice.Choco lover SURe will like it.

Bakerzin's mini macaron is very cute and attractive.But the taste is not as i look.I thought it will be very nice, but it is not.But it is too sweet for me.However, different people really have different opinion.My friend like it very much.Although it is sweet,it still taste special.The crispy outer part make it a bit like biscuit,but the inner part is totally soft.
