Small party to birthday girl Gloria, we brought her a surprise. We knew that she like BengawanSolo, so we pre-ordered the birthday cake for her. Freshly baked from the oven, the staff followed our request to put a Chocolate with written words there. Light Mango mousse embedded with pieces of mangoes, fresh cream was at the same time sandwiched between the layers light sponge cake. Smooth and silky, the taste was just nice, not too sweet. Able to serve up to 8 peoples, each of us get a piece. Ful

Fresh fruits were used for this fruity birthday cake. the (sponge) cake was light and fluffy within. I felt that it was a tad too sweet to my liking. It could be better if less sugar(?) was used. I kept it for about 3 days in the fridge and it still tasted fresh. Bengawan Solo is a rather reliable and dependable place to get birthday cakes even though they do not serve perfect cakes.

Today I was given a box of Baby 1st Month Cake by the guy sitting across from me to celebrate his son 1st month birthday. Quite a big box in baby blue colour.Inside was a round butter cake with 2 Ang Ku Kueh and 2 hard boiled eggs, which had been dyed red. The butter cake was soft and moist, and had a rich buttery taste. It was also light and airy. The Ang Ku Kueh was soft and chewy, with sweet filling.

I have been coming to Bengawan solo since I was a small kid. Every year for my birthday my parents and I would head down to the cake shop to pick out a birthday cake for me. One of my favourite cakes is the pandan kaya cake. The pandan flavour is very prominent, and the kaya filling is very smooth and delicious. The filling alternates with soft fluffy laters of cake, and the whole cake is covered with flakes of coconut.

For Chinese New Year, my aunt bought us a box of Peanut Butter Cookies from Bengawan Solo.The price of the box of cookies were not really expensive, considering the quality of the cookies and the established brand.The metal casing was really attractive with CNY designs.The cookies were also well packed, inside a zip-loc bag.The cookies were also not oily and delicious!!Very fragrant smell of peanut as well!!The cookies were not too sweet too.Love them as snacks, I like to eat them during breakfa

The pandan cake is one.of my favourite snack during tea break. The pandan cake texture is very soft and moist, which almost like melt in my mouth during every bites of it. The pandan fragrant is really good and it is also not too sweet. Would be good if the slice can big bigger in portion as currently is abit too small which i must at least buy two pieces to satisfy my craving for it.

I love that Toa Payoh Hub always has many great food to choose from!Today since i'm going to the interchange to take bus, i decide to buy some keuh snacks to take with me when i go my friend's house While i was deciding on what to buy, Bengawan Solo's kueh kueh caught my eyes!There were many varieties to choose from the glass casings display!I decide to get the banana muffins and 9 layer kuehs I know my friend would definitely like the 9 layer kuehs as she told me before how colourful she likes

My bosses have bought many of the chocolate and pandan swiss roll cakes from Bengawan solo for our office party last week. The chocolate cake is filled with the thick dark chocolate flavour in it and also the texture is smooth and soft as well. My favourite is more towards the pandan cake as it is equally fragrant and also there are very nice cheese cream in between it. Moreover there are also some shredded cheese mixed in the cheese cream which make this swiss roll cakes even tastier and appe

I always like cakes and kuens from bengawa solo. Felt that their 'products' are rather good quality at a resonable price as compare with other cakes and kuens from other shop. Bengawan Solo's cakes are not only affordable, the taste is definitely not compromised as a result. This strawberry cake giving the cake a super duper strawberry taste, awesomeness! YUMMY!! Had a very enjoyable birthday celebration!!

This are the two types of kueh that can be found in Bengawan Solo. Their kueh is of standard size and is wrapped with plastic, so it's more hygenic when put inside the plastic bag. I like both of these kueh when it's cold! And i like to eat the one on the left side, layer by layer and taste it! They are cheap too, lesser than $1 for one piece of kueh.

For my friend's birthday, we brought him this cake from Bengawan Solo. It is a mango fruit cake with a layer of fruit jelly on top. Delicious! The taste of real fruits is strong and the cake is not too sweet. The cake is spongy and light. Good for those who do no like cream

Birthday Celebration !She was a mango lover, this is why we decide to buy her a cake with a lot of mango on top of it.The fruits taste fresh, and the cake inside feel spongy, and the shopkeeper was nice that he give us a piece if chocolate slice to wrote her name and ''happy birthday !'' on top of it You won't feel greasy even though you eat a lot of it !

It's my friend birthday again.I not really the cake from bengawan solo,because it is too thick,hard to eat.But the mango cake from bengawan solo is really nice.Because of the top fulled with mango and the cream inside,it make the cake so fresh.But i feel oily after eat for such a big piece,maybe the fresh cream in the middle is too much.I like the mango on the top very much,it is sweet and fresh.And the mango jelly on the top also.

the photo of food shown above is the is fruit cake from bengawan solo. i simply like this fruit cake as they added banana to make the cake. banana is my favourite fruit! and because of that i think this cake is quite similar to banana cake. the price for this cake is quite reasonable too. good to eat for breakfast

my mother bought back a box of Ma kuo Kueh from toa payoh’s bengawan solo for my sister’s and my breakfast. We both love ma kuo kueh since young. My grandmother used to make it for us. Bengawan solo’s ma kuo kueh really taste like home made. The kueh is so soft and fluffy. It is very moist but yet does not stick to your teeth. They got give brown sugar to go with the kuek cos the kueh itself is rather tasteless. It is just so delicious!
