Yu Kee Duck - Koufu (已結業)

Brought a plate of the duck hor fun from the famous duck stall Yu Kee. I had been patronising this stall for quite a few times and I can say that the quality of the duck meat is still very consistent. This is the same for this time round. The duck meat is well braised, has a very tender texture. As for the hor fun, I think that it is a little dry. Besides their signature duck rice and kway chap, their handmade duck noodles is really good too. The noodle is not the normal yellow thick noodles you find at other braised duck rice stall. Their noodles look like those instant noodles but it does not taste like it. The texture of the noodles is much chewier. The kway chap at yu kee yew tee point is really good. every time I would just order their braised duck rice, this time I decided to try the kway chap. The portion of the kway chap was pretty big, I shared the kway chap ingredients with my sister. The gravy for the kway chap ingredient is just so tasty. the duck was so smooth. It was very easy to chew. The braised peanut is very soft. The tau pok is very juicy.

This stall sells one of the nicest kway chap. The portion of the kway is really large, normally they will serve the kway on those tiny soup bowls and when you scoop into it, you can only find a miserable pieces of kways, but for this, the bowl size is those fishball noodles that large size bowl and there was really a lot of pieces of kway. this stall other than selling braised duck rice or noodles also sells kway chap. their kway chap is good and i suggest you eat it there. the kway is served in a rather large bowl. the soup is tasty and the gravy they add on top of the ingredients is nice. i strongly recommend their salted vegetable. in my opinion is a must order. nice kway chap you can get almost at a lot of places but to get nice salted vegetable to go with your kway chap is hard. the salted vegetable here is not too salty that

I should say 'Yu Kee' is quite a promising name for their fragrant braised duck. The duck meat here is juicy, tender and not too oily. The dark soya sauce used in braising the duck has totally absorb into it which make every piece of this yummy duck taste really good! I always thought the duck rice from yu kee duck was really good. it was when I tried their hand made duck noodles. The noodles tasted really good. it looked a bit like instant noodles but taste a little like those ban mian’s u-mian but much thinner. What attracted me to this stall was not the braised duck hanging at the display, nor was it the colourful signboard of the food they sold. This stall is one of my favourite stall for duck rice. For the duck meat, fresh, tender and well cooked. Other side dishes such as the peanut, egg and tofu are also included and was well braised with the gravy. The tofu has smooth and soft texture. Lasty, for the rice itself, the flavour was there, well cooked as well, not too bland. The chili is a must try, because this stall has the best chili as compared to other duck rice stall.

Situated in a very convenient ocation in the Koufu coffee shop, Yu Kee Duck’s duck rice has always been my favourite lunch. Love their duck rice! Very tasty and the ice itself is very flavourful. Their duck is nicely cooked and when consumed with the sauce, it is just plain awesomeness! Simple and cheap lunch, yet also a satisfying and yummy one!

the duck rice at yew tee point's koufu is just simply so delicious! i love their soup! it is so tasty. they even add free tou gan as well. the sauce is simply awesome! so tasty, not too salty. it is really heavenly! the nicest food court duck rice!

The duck rice here is good. Very fragrant rice, not too soft and soggy (you can pick up the pieces of rice). The slices of duck meat is tender and of a generous amount. There are some peanuts too, which are soft and nicely done. The pieces of beancurd is quite normal. I like my rice with lots of gravy, though some said that the gravy is quite salty. Another favorite is the kway chap. The intestines are clean and does not have the bad smell. The kway is very smooth, and the soup that goes with it
