Famous hawker specialty I want to share, it was commonly found everywhere. There queue was there, just thought of a plate of hot steaming mee and I joined the queue. Waiting time was not that long, it was acceptable.Actually there were only few squids and slides of prawn added, yet still tasted not bad. Stir-fried until noodles were braised, smelt smokey, coated fully savour and gravy turned to be greyish crystal clear. If you like the wetly gooey type of noodles, then this plate will definitely

Stir-fried until noodles were braised, smelt smokey, coated fully savour and gravy turned to be greyish crystal clear. If you like the wetly gooey type of noodles, then this plate will definitely appeal you. It was the smallest version, $3.00 per plate.

I love the hokkien mee here! The serving size was rather huge and I could not finish it. The belacan chilli is very fragrant and tastes great with the hokkien mee. The hokkien mee served here is more watery than outside where the gravy is more soaked up. I actually like the watery version better. The queuing time was very long though. It took me about 45 minutes which I felt was not quite worth the time.

The FoodI ordered the Fried Hokkien Prawn Mee. The noodles are cooked with lots of seafood stock and it was well-absorbed by the springy and smooth noodles. I find that the Hokkien Mee can taste even better if the stock is richer, thicker and more flavourful and includes more Lard. If you like your Hokkien Mee wet, you will definitely enjoy this. The PriceReasonably priced at $4 for decent portionOverallI will definitely come back again and highly recommended to try this!

I have been a regular patron of this hokkien mee stall for many years now. They usually start preparing at 1-2pm, and officially start selling at roughly 3pm. The hokkien mee is very flavourful because they use prawn shells to boil the broth. Portion of ingredients is also very generous, I ordered the $4 one and there were quite many prawns given. They could do with more chili though, as I was given very little even though I had asked for extra. I queued for roughly 20 minutes, and they were sol

The FoodI ordered the Fried Hokkien Prawn Mee. The noodles are unique as is slightly more watery than the usual fried hokkien mee. With every mouthful, can experience the irresistible taste of prawn and pork rib broth and the lingering fragrance of dark soy sauce and pepper. The sweet chilli sauce enhances the aroma of the delicious noodles so well that it makes me order another plate. I have heard of good fried Hokkian prawn noodle in Bedok but I was not sure the exact stall. Since I went to visit a friend of mine who is staying in Bedok, I saw this stall and I was hungry at the time. I just ordered a plate of fried Hokkian prawn noodle. It was quite a big plate though. As usual, prawns, fatty pork and chilli sauce were the main ingredients plus two types of noodle. Chilli sauce could be homemade one, as it was quite fragrance and spicy. The broth they used to braise noodle was fine. Whenever I eat Hokkian noodle, I would toss the chilli with all ingredients, I like it to be spicy, no exception for this one. If it could have some veggie, it was even better.

Overall taste was fine. It is fine trying it when one is passing by that area.
