Food quality was good however the pinch is its above-average-pricing indeed!

Tried their Eggs Benedict, one was the Streaky Bacon Savoury Pancake ($23) while the other was the Smoked Salmon ($24). I think the former was preferred, the egg was done just the right way as it should be and tasted great along with the savoury pancakes. However, the latter version was just run-of-the-mill. Looking at the size of it, it was not meant to be filling surely. The only commendable aspects were that luckily the egg was done right while the smoked Salmon was fresh enough.

Tried the Chicken Roulade ($28), meat was tender enough and the gravy sauce tasted flavourful enough. Had the Pizza Rocket ($28) too, the Parma Ham was fresh but the pizza crust was too hard. Can pretty much give it a miss

Overall, food quality was average but at a steep price. But the quiet ambience was the only plus point.

Grilled Fresh Sea Bass was beautifully cooked to a nice silver to charring gradient colour. Moist tender flesh and crispy skin accompanied with cucumber relish & saffron hollandaise was simply lovely
So far I liked the Slipper Lobster Pasta the most, cute looking slipper lobsters in generous portions was tender and moist.Blended well with the bouncy al dente pasta and cherry tomatoes.

I would definitely be back to try out the other dishes!

Ordered two spaghetti dishes (the classic Aglio Olio and Tagliatelle Crab), a Chicken Salad, and a white and red wine for each of us. The Aglio Olio Spaghetti was average as it was under-cooked, causing the pasta to taste slightly hard and dry. However, i believe that this dish will appeal to the health conscious population as it is not oily compared to the Aglio Olio I've tried elsewhere.

You can never go wrong with Churros fresh from the deep fryer. Hot, crispy, and generous coating of sugar and cinnamon was already awesome by itself. Say hi to the chocolate sauce and you are in dream land. Side note, the chocolate sauce can do with some more dark choc inside.

Located in a nice quiet area of Rochester Park, Da Paolo Bistro Bar could be little hard to find, but definitely worth your effort. I always love the cozy and relax dining atmosphere of this place. Started of the meal with Parma ham melon ($19) is a good choice. The natural sweetness of the melon give you a kick of appetite for sure, and goes well with Parma ham, refreshing. However, it would be much better if the salad green (lettuce) can be replaced with rockets and spinach! For main, Tagliate

For main, Tagliatelle Granchio ($25) is recommended if you like creamy pasta. The creamy tomato kind of sauce is very rich and tasty. The sourness of the tomato is well-balanced with the cream, and there's lots of crab meat in the pasta.

Baked Linguine ($27) is quite an ordinary dish, but again, the tomato sauce is yummy, and seasoned well. The seafood are fresh too.

To complete the meal, we had the signature Tiramisu ($11). The cream cheese has a pleasantly smooth texture, and the cake itself was soaked in coffee, giving a good flavour with a hint of liquor. Perfect end of a satisfying meal.

Da Paolo Bistro Bar is no doubt one of my favourite brunch places, due to the green surrounding, serene-looking design, and of course, good food! I always have a cup of cappuccino ($6) to start with while waiting for the food. They doesn't really have a lot of the salad choices, but all the greens are very fresh I must say. The greens are accompanied by cherry tomatoes that are pretty sweet, spicy raw onion rings, and topped with grilled prawns.

This is the first time we ordered pizza here, the blue swimmer crabmeat pizza ($25) is not too bad, the base is not overly thick, which is nice. The pizza is topped with generous amount of crabmeat, and sprinkled with lots of black pepper.

I had the Pasta Gratinata ($22) and absolutely fell in love with it. The cooked pasta is being oven-baked again before it's served on the table. The sauce is so rich and creamy, together with heaps of bacon, this pasta is simply sinful yet comforting!

As for desserts, we had the Salted Caramel Pannacotta, Candied Almond Popcorn ($14). It consists of the smooth caramel-flavoured pannacotta, the crispy popcorn, and finished up with a small jar of chilled chocolate drink! Three completely different flavours' components, yet matching so well together.

This is their chocolate fudge cake which looks really presentable and looks really tasty isn't it ? Ohwell, it is really awesome because the taste of the chocolate is of good quality and the sponge inside is not really hard, whereas the texture is just nice and well done made! (: I would definately look forward to try more of their cakes especially at the paragon outlet! (:

We had brunch at Da Paolo and ordered Tuna loin tartare ($21) as the starter. The tuna tartare is very fresh, and well-seasoned with tiny hint of lemon taste. No fishy taste at all. For desserts, if you want to order Dark chocolate souffle ($22), you will need to wait for 20 min before it is being served. But it definitely worth the wait. The souffle is so fluffy in texture, and it sort of just melted in your mouth straight away.

Homemade Tagliatelle ($25) is a must try! The creamy tomato sauce is so comforting and flavourful, with generous amount of Crab meat and herbs such as Thyme. The texture of the pasta is well-done too.
