Simple as it can be, its a dish that you can have for lunch and or dinner! And it will keep you yearning for more( trust me)

Brought my mum to try the noodles ( she dont normally eat food that she haven tried or eaten before, so i have to force her to eat this) we both had the same thing. And to my surprise, she actually like it.

Filled with minced pork bits in the 'ganlao' sauce which is poured over the ramen noodles and finishing off is 2 deep fried wanton and Fuzhou fishballs! Thou i would rather they wrap the wanton with more filling inside but nevertheless i still enjoyed my noodles! Their Fuzhou fishball is delicious. Basically, Fuzhou fishballs are fishballs with meat inside. And i dont know is it the nature of fuzhou fishballs or its only this stall, i could actually still find soup inside.(somewhat like xiao long bao)

To sum it all up, 干捞拉面 is a noodle that you can never wrong with! (just for me)

Having lunch with colleague at this place since my colleague have craving for dumpling. I order the Pork Rib noodle instead of dry, I ask for soup base. Noodle is soft and easy to chew on and soup base is tasty. They are generous in giving the pork rib as each of them are consider big size and juicy meat. They really did a good job in braising the meat.  Mushroom is soft too and vegetable is fresh that you can taste it.

Don't be fooled by the messy look of this dish! The mee sua at Hong Hu Express is really good! One of the main thing is that their broth is very good. Flavourful, not too salty or greasy and elevates the simple mee sua. There is a generous sprinkling of ikan bilis, vegetables, minced pork and egg in the bowl plus silky mee sua. If you prefer your mee sua a bit more "al dante", this is not for you. They are incredibly soft which is how I like them. Cheap and good!

Hong Hu Express is the stall i ever satisfied for lunch at far east plaza. Offers kinds of fish soup and ramen. My favorite at there is Tom Yam Seafood Soup. Costs $4.50 with added rice bowl, will add 20cents if take away. It's just original sour and spicy tom yam soup that came with sliced fish, prawn, and usual soup seafood. The staffs are friendly and serve quite fast. A bowl of tom yam soup can make you active on blue Monday or rainy day.

Among the other eateries here on level 5, Far East Plaza, Hong Hu Express is a place for me to satisfy my ban mian craving. Tended by mostly PRC, I ordered the normal version of the ban mian and within 5 minutes, my piping hot ban mian is served to me. My usual way of eating ban mian is to mass spam it with a lot of chili padi to make the soup powered with spiciness. This is the Beef Kimchi Ramen Soup, priced at $4.50, is filled with generous slices of beef, ramen and cabbage. For the Kimchi soup base, I felt that it's diluted and a bit salty. Also, the shop does not have a good ventilation system as the mixture of the noodle smell and the cooking oil smell stuck to my clothes after I left the shop, certainly not a good idea to bring your date to, but a place for you to consider if you want to have a reasonably priced meal in Orchard where the price is still

Not forgetting it also comes with an egg. If you are going for a cheap and filling ramen meal, their Beef Kimchi Ramen soup is a dish you ought to try. If you are going for a quality ramen meal to satisfy your craving, I think there are better restaurants or cafes elsewhere.

Went over for lunch and wanted to have something light so I ordered the sliced fish bee hoon. The portion was quite generous, and the fish was fresh. I like how the soup is light and does not taste MSG-ish. It also didn't make me feel very thirsty after the meal, like how certain stalls' soups do.Service was quick and the staff were friendly. However, I found the place slightly cramped.

Fuzhou Ramen

The serving portion is generous, with 5 Fuzhou balls in total and plenty of cabbage, which I think will appeal more to health conscious individuals. Also, the soup base was so bland, which I don't like. I prefer my noodle or soup to be tasty. The ramen portion was also quite a lot.

I really like the Fuzhou balls. You will get to see the yummy meat sauce oozing out of the ball when you bite into it. Also the minced meat in the ball tasted nice. I think the Fuzhou ball is the only saving grace for this dish. If the Fuzhou ball is not yummy, I definitely won't order this dish again.

If I didn't remember wrongly, my dish cost $6.50 in total. In my opinion I think the price is reasonable, given the generous serving portion. But as the soup base was bland, I don't really like this dish.

I decided to order the Dry Ramen. It is spicy in nature and contains plenty of chilli oil, which I don't think it will appeal to health conscious individuals. But being a foodie lover, I don't mind at all. Also this Dry Ramen comes with 2 of their signature Fuzhou fishball, where it is puffy in texture and it contains juicy and yummy meat, which I believe is pork.

Also, the thick noodle, when mixed and stirred well with the chilli oil and plenty of minced meat, is simply delicious. Not forgetting the 2 pieces of crispy dumpling that's also nice to eat. I think the generous serving of vegetables will appeal to health conscious individuals but for me, I don't really like the taste of it as it tasted raw.

Out of a rating of 1 to 10 where 1 as mediocre and 10 as very yummy, I would give this dish "Dry Ramen" a rating of 6, where I felt it's delicious but it's a little bit too oily. I think it will be better if they use lesser oil to cook this dish. At a cost of $4.50 per bowl, I think the price is still reasonable for the generous portion given.

Went there for lunch with friend. I ordered Hong Yu Beef Ramen. First time trying their hong yu ramen, I think its average. When the beef ramen was served, its not tempting at all although was piping hot. Try the soup, the soup base was lack of hong you(red oil) taste and not thick at all. I hope it will be more spicier but end up not spicy, it a bit disappointed. The noodles was not bad, chewy and springy. The beef was tender and fresh, I like it. Overall, the ramen was average.
