Haven't had a Nando's in 5 years since I left the UK and this was surely a lovely way to reunite my taste buds with Nando's Chicken! It's the most wonderful time of the year once again. The star/s at nando's is/are actually the side dishes since there are so many to choose from, depending on your personal taste and preferences. For this visit, we had the garlic bread, grilled vegetables, mixed salad and mediterranean rice. All were good except for the grilled vegetables which gave a funny aftertaste. Order different side dishes so you can get to taste more of the items on the menu.

So, what makes the flavor really special? It's because of the peri-peri or the African Birds Eye Chilli which according to their website was discovered in Africa by the Portuguese. The news is, peri-peri doesn't contain any preservatives, colourants or artificial flavours.The chicken is good as it is but if you are more adventurous, you may opt for the other peri-peri sauces: hot and extra hot. I reccommend eating the peri peri chicken, as the grilled chicken is really good and you get to choose

We are big fans of the choco rolls available at Nando's & sometimes visit Nando's only to have their Choco rolls.They are basically chilled chocolate rolls made of chocolate & biscuit & dusted with some icing sugar. 3 pieces are served in a plate. They taste more like kit kat. It is slightly over priced though. It costs about 6 $ for 3 pieces. However, its a real sweetner after a spicy & sumptous meal. I would like to recommend this dessert from Nando's to everyone. Its worth trying.

I was working half day yesterday, So hubby & I decided to meet for lunch at Nando's. We reached Nando's at around 3:30 Pm for a late lunch & were super hungry. We glanced through the menu quickly & ordered for 2 quarter chickens with 2 sides. I ordered for a medium & my hubby ordered for a hot one. Whenever I walk past the Nando’s restaurant, I always have an urge to go in. This time I did and I am glad I did! I got to know about Nando's when I was in Melbourne, Australia last year. I was excited about its opening in Singapore and was looking forward to sink my teeth into their famous peri peri chicken. Nando's did not disappoint me with their grilled chicken. The chicken was moist and tender. I thought it tasted better than the one I had in Melbourne.

After my not so nice experience with this brunch when they first open their doors in Singapore, I thought it would be time to go back again to see if there is any improvements. The side dishes here are very different from other restaurant and fast food outlets. Instead of serving butter fragrant rice, they uses lots of spices and curry powder to make into their unique rice. The coleslaw here taste abit more sour compare to others who actually served creamy and sweet coleslaw. The french fries here have lots of pepper dashed on it instead of salt. It is crispy but not really hot when served to me. Their serving also take quite long upon my order of foods.
