If you love seafood, probably you will like this more than i do. The soup is filled with "seafood" taste. Personally i feel that it is quite okay but my friend loves it due to their soup base.You can never get enough of their signature sushi;Shiok Maki! I mean unless you are forced to eat 100 plates of it at one go or you personally don't like raw salmon. I guess this is probably their best dish among all the ramen, BBQ or even sushi.What's so brilliant about this sushi? EVERYTHING ON IT IS GOO

I have been hearing a lot about the legendary shiok makis served here and was eager to try first hand to see if it lives up to its hype. I arrived at about 4pm- non peak time to skip the long queues that will eventually form outside of the restaurant. I wanted to try both generations of Shiok maki and the waitress told me I was able to order half of each to form 1 serving although I had to pay more (about $18). The shiok maki is a must try!! Fell in love with it the first time I tried. Kind of ' melt ' in your mouth. Ordered the pork sukiyaki and the soup is sooo good! Other than that. We ordered the salmon belly soup. A light soup with great flavor!   The sashimi there is really fresh as well. As we went after the lunch hour and there is only 2 of us. We did not have to queue for long. Definitely is a must try!

Koh Grill & Sushi Bar has a very extensive menu. The Shiok Maki at Koh's Grill and Sushi Bar is rather interesting It comes with prawns or unagi, and avocado, cucumber, and topped with flying fish roe and melted cheese. The textures were amazing, my mouth was in heaven. The first bite was insanely good. The hype surrounding this dish is really worth it! I also tried the yakitori, the sauce was quite good. The yaki udon was served hot and right off the griddle. Being a fan of udon, I loved the flavours and springy feeling of the udon. Thumbs up I definitely recommend the pitan tofu too! The tofu was simple but the flavours were exciting. The different elements in the dish came together really well! OISHI!

This plate of premium sushi really makes my day, and really thankful to my friend who has treated me. Inside is filled with generous amount of avocado which are very crunchy and fresh. The Japanese rice used is very fragrant and firm in texture. The seaweed rolls inside is chewy and not too dry. At $16.80 per plate, is expensive but yummy. Restaurant is comfortable with beautiful Japanese decoration around it. Service is very prompt and friendly too.

Usually at Koh Grill, i will definitely order at least one portion of the popular item Shiok Maki but i decide to skip it for this particular visit. Just feel like having something soupy.Had the sukiyaki and mushroom yakitori. The taste for sukiyaki is not bad but slightly disappointing cause it came luke warm, not hot! The shiok maki is delicious! It's come in a set of 8 pieces for about $16! The sauce is awesome too! Really good! The tastiness of the eel resides in your mouth and makes you want to get another bite!

This stall does not seem amazingly good from the exterior, but i was pleasantly surprised by the quality and freshness of the food. The sushis are good, compared to other mass market sushi chains and the portion is sufficient as well (at least for me). Would recommend this salmon sushi topped with fish roe. The sushi goes well with the creamy sauce and the fish roe, making it a delightful dish.
