I am a big fan of the Mango Sago with Pomelo dessert served here. It may be a tad expensive, but one bowl of this dessert packs generous portions of diced fresh mango, pomelo bits and sago, served in a rich, concentrated mango puree. It is a cold dessert and it is especially refreshing when eaten on a scorchingly hot day or after a meal.

After having a meal, we walked down to Liang Seah Street to have dessert at Ah Chew Dessert. Once we arrived, there was very crowded. and we had been arranging to seat outside of the shop.The menu was put under the glass of the table and we may decide before taking an order. After lunch at Yu Kee duck rice, we walk down the street to Ah Chew for dessert.They offer a variety of desserts, both traditional and modern, serve hot or cold.We tried their Yam with Sago @$3.20. We can immediately smell the yam fragrance and taste the yam when we only have the sago in the first scoop. You can find generous chunks of yam at the bottom of the bowl. At Ah Chew Desserts there are so many desserts to choose from! And it took me quite awhile to decide what I would take away for my family. The menu was so comprehensive that I wanted to take away double share for each of us so we could try out the various desserts they serve. But I was very in control and ordered the Black Glutinous Rice with Vanilla Ice Cream ($3.50).

Went here to relax after my BFF's concert with a couple of my close friends, and this place is highly recommended I tried a mango sago, which I found really delightful and refreshing, something that I would actually come back for, and the mango was of an appropriate serving, which made my money all the more worth. My other friends chose honeydew sago and even a durian mango sago! They really have A LOT of desserts, you'll be absolutely spoilt for choice

Ah Chew Desserts serves really good desert! Super love their peanut paste and black sesame paste! Not too thick to make you feel sick halfway. Just the right touch to keep you finishing the bowl of goodie! Prices are very reasonably fixed too. Great place for dessert at a great great price! Yummilicious!

After dinner nearby, my family and i decided to try out Ah Chew's desserts because the exterior of the shop looked inviting, moreover, it was rather packed inside. We ordered a total of 5 types of dessert: Almond paste, sesame seed paste, ginger beancurd, peanut paste and papaya in freshmilk. i went to ah chew's with my girlfriend for a nice afternoon tea. i ordered the almond paste as i was craving for something rich in flavour. i love the smoothness of their almond paste, it simply glides down my throat. the almond taste is quite strong, it really refreshes your mouth. there is no after taste and this almond pasta is not too sweet as well. i really this place to all almond paste lovers!

I'm a die hard fan of Ah Chew! Delicious mango sago and this time i had black glutinous rice with vanilla ice cream. The combination of cold and creamy vanilla ice cream with traditional Black Glutinous Rice and a bit of toasted almond flakes was really a good hit. The combination is just perfect! Really an awesome cooling dessert especially on a hot sunny day!

Be frank, i use to be their fans for mango pamelo sago. It is such a mouthful for a simple dessert after a heavy dinner.Somehow, someday when i brought one of my friends from aus to try out this dessert. the service was terrible. the mango pamelo sago turns out very watery and not as generous portion as they use to gave. I'm glad to find a home make dessert stall with a great dessert menu at resonable pricing.The barley bean curd with ginko nuts are really superb,just right taste and not too sweet with generous servings of ginko nuts.Almond paste is smooth and creamy and not too loud on its almond taste and sweetness.Sago mango is another of my favourite and i visit this shop at least 3 times a week for my dessert craving and lucky that i work nearby.

It's amazing to see the number of people coming here for desserts. But due to my higher expectations for desserts,I only find them average tasting.The only one that I like is the mango dessert with sago.That's really yummy!
