This stall is always so long queue and I was really glad that I only queue for five minutes before is my turn to order my favourite hokkien mee. Priced at $4 which is reasonable as the portion was quite alright as well. THe noodles are fragrant and full of the prawn stock in it. The sotong and prawns in it are very fresh and chewy. Love those sambal chilli paste which is fragrant and spicy, goes very well with the noodles. Stall owner service was alright but not really that friendly. Stall

Just had my lunch in this food market and have order ed the black carrot cake from this food stall. For merely $2 per plate, price is reasonable and portion is quite alright as well. The carrot cake is very soft and full of the sweet sauce and chilli paste fragrant. Can taste the fried egg pieces which make the carrot cake more fragrant as well. The stall is small and clean, the packing aunty is quite friendly too.

I like to eat Fried Hokkien Prawn Noodle very much thus my expectation of it is quite high. I went online to research for nice Fried Hokkien Prawn Noodle in Singapore and came across this outlet at Ang Mo Kio. I immediately went down to eat the very next day. There was suprisingly no long queue during the dinner time. I slurp down the noodles and they were very delicious and the prawns were fresh too.

The Service
As I went on weekends afternoon, the queue very long as need time to cook the noodles

The Ambience
As the stall is in hawker center, i find that the place was well-ventilated and not stuffy

The Price
I ordered the $4 and the portion is just nice. They have price range of $3, $4 $6

Overall
I will definitely come back again and highly recommended to try this!

There is always a short queue during lunch or dinner right at this stall. The thick bee hoon and yellow noodle were nicely braised in flavorful prawn broth to give it the taste then they fried it with fresh tasting like egg, pork belly, sotong and prawns to give it the flavor. The texture was rather moist. The lime was squeezed to enhance the overall taste further. This might not be the best testing fried hokkien prawn mee but it is good enough to satisfy a craving.

Ordered this plate of hokkien mee since i was dying to have some noodles. The thick bee hoon and yellow noodles proportion was mixed pretty well. It was in fact not too dry and a little wet like what i preferred. The noodles were well cooked and realy fragrant. The prawns were given in generous amount and they are really fresh. You can choose to squeeze in the lime, but i chose not to. I had the entire plate in original taste and it is realy tasty!

The hokkien mee is really delicious, they not only use the yellow noodles, they also used bee hoon. The gravy is very thick and tasty and most importantly, the prawn they added to the dish is really fresh. The bright orange prawn is cooked perfectly, the flesh is juicy and succulent. To me, the highlight of the dish is the sambal chilli.

Though not the best but the standard was pretty acceptable. An average plate of fried hokkien noodle that easily forgettable. The thick bee hoon and the yellow noodle were nicely fried and well flavored with rather fresh ingredients used but very little of them. Apparently, i could not even spot a piece of sotong, either it was in really small pieces or there is none at all. Most importantly, it was not too wet, i like it dry. Another disappointment is the missing of wok hei taste. It still taste

It still tasted nice enough when mixed well with the sambal chilli and the tinge of lime did enhanced the overall taste a little.

But for $3.00 a plate, i guess i should not be complaining.
