Whenever i am at ikea i would always make my way to the cafe for their food. Have always like the meatballs at ikea as it is really awesome when paired with the jam and the gravy. I bought this piece of cake yesterday and keep it in the fridge overnight for my next day breakfast. This morning, I put it in the oven and grill it for approx. 1 to one and half minutes on both sides (top & bottom). Unbelievable, it turns out to be so savvy crispy. It is taste fantastic. For a long time since i was born, i've been in love with Swedish meatballs, from Ikea.It's beef is soooo tasteful and bouncy in your mouth, but recently, the meatballs have gone from circular shape to oval shape, which makes it sooooooooooooooo enjoyable because i believe that the meatballs seem to be bigger than in the past.What disappoints me is that during peak periods, the swedish meatballs are mushy and sometimes, uncooked. My family and I went to Ikea to shop for new curtains and we popped by the cafe for some light afternoon snacks. I ordered the salmon salad for myself. It is a really refreshing salad due to the different greens in the salad. The salmon is also tender and is just adequately flavoured. The lemon slices add some zest and tangyness to the salad with its sourness. Overall, I enjoyed this plate of salad a lot.

I went Ikea at Alexandra on a Saturday afternoon to look for a side table, and decided to have my lunch there in the Ikea Café. I ordered the poached salmon with potatoes and mixed vegetables. I don’t really like it as the salmon was quite tasteless, but it was a healthy dish.

Feeling hungry after some shopping in Ikea, we headed to the café for some food. We ordered light bites which was the chicken wings. It costs $2.50 for the two golden brown chicken wings. They were deeply fried and tasted very crispy on the outside, but yet tender and soft on the meat inside.

I will almost always order their swedish meatballs whenever I go to the restaurant after shopping at Ikea. Normally I will get the set with 10 meatballs so that each of us can have 5 each. The meatballs come together with potatos plus fruity jam and gravy for you to dip the meatball or potato in. The meatballs are quite bouncy and have a lot of juice within them. I will always pair it with the jam as the sweetness matches well with the saltiness of the meatball.

It was my first time trying Ikea's meatballs which I've heard many good things about.The first thing I noticed was that the portion was very generous for the price.They were also very generous when I asked for more gravy.The gravy complemented the meatballs really well and the meatballs were very chewy yet succulent.Definitely a very filling meal that's worth it!

Having meals at Ikea has always been pretty standard (nothing off my expectation) as I will always order the signature swedish meatball and the crispy chicken wings.IKEA, the one place where furniture and dining comes together seamlessly. Having excelled in providing cheap, quality furniture to the masses, it now seeks to conquer the stomachs of the masses. Right now, it is definitely doing a great job.
