Tonite I have a dinner with some of my ex-classmates at this restaurant. The restaurant offers international buffet for dinner. For weekend, it also offers BBQ food items on top of the usual dishes. It costs $62++ per adult for the buffet dinner. We are showed to a table by the window. The restaurant is quiet and cosy as there is not much other diners around. Next is the soup station, where there is pumpkin soup and chicken soup, with assorted breads. We are disapppointed that the soups are not warm enough especially when the weather is quite cold. the pumpkin soup tastes a bit off. One of us feels that it tastes more like Lobster Bisque.

Next is the star of the buffet dinner - the BBQ. There is tiger prawn, salmon steak, crayfish, scallop, spanish pork belly, boneless chicken thigh, lamb t-bone chop, and striplion steak, plus seasonings such as homemade sesame oil, hoi sin glaze, korean spice bbq, sambal and teriyaki. I am quite disappointed with my serving of lamb chop and pork belly which is quite overcooked and tough to eat.

There is also other hot food such as Lamb Chop with Dijon Mustard, Roasted Duck, Black Dhall and Rajma Masala.

There is also Hong Kong Kailan Mushroom, Steam Chicken Hong Kong, Fried Pork Rib, Otak Otak, Satay, and Fried Wantan Noodle.
One of the us tried the laksa which tastes more like curry noodle with a kind of odd taste in it.

There is also Baked Oyster, Baked Scallops, Assorted Crackers and Papadums, Beef Meat Ball, Spicy Prawn Skewers, Otak based dori fish, and Sambal Shellfish.
The baked oyster and scallop tastes quite good and yummy, as well as, the sambal shellfish.

My favourite is the restaurant's signature Durian Pengat which is made by mixing durian pulp with coconut milk. It is quite rich and thick in flavour.

Overall the food is not bad, with quite a number of choices for everyone.

Even more upset is i have to additional charges for soft drink like Coke. I have been to many 4-5 star hotel for buffet and there no additional charges for soft drink. I paid almost $300 for 6 adults n 1 child and i dont think is value for money although every 2 paying diners, 1 dine for free. Indulge At Park should learn more from Shangri-la Hotel (Line Restaurant). They got so many varieties to choose from and free flow of soft drinks and fruits juices. Althought they charge a bit higher but i dont mind to pay a bit more to get quality food with so many varieties to choose from.

There are varieties of food to choose from, make the buffet spread nice. Seafood involved too. Love to eat salmon, and here there is salmon, which I could take free flow since is a buffet. Other varieties of Japanese food available too, for example different kinds of Sushi. The meat is good, the dessert too. Durian dessert is one of the nicest. This place is located at prime area, easy to get to even without car. For environment wise, its ambience is nice.

Sat between the interior of the restaurant and the lounge opposite. Ambience wise was good as live music from lounge accompanied the dinner, to create the mood.

First we started eating the cold seafood section. The salmon sashimi and the cold poached prawns was very delicious. There were oysters also, but i did not try.

At the Japanese section. There was sushi & maki and soba noodles. The only comment I have is, you can avoid this section and save your stomach space for other food. The salad section beside it was better. Tried many kinds of salads and the mushroom salad was the best, even though I love mushrooms. The other salads were ok, not too bad. The 2 kinds of hams were tasty.

Onto the hot food, there was roasted beef and chicken, baked whole salmon in tomato sauce, vegetable fritter, fried pappadum & belinjo crackers, vegetable curry, green vegetable, tofu, lamb chop and a potato cheese gratin. The live station that night was mee siam. Dishes that i ate second serving were the lamb chop and the potato cheese gratin. The roast chicken was skinless, leaving only all the dry breast meat on the tray.

Desserts wise, it consisted of durian pengat, ice cream, chocolate fountain and fresh fruits. There were 2 flavours for the egg tarts, original & kaya. You can’t really taste the difference between the two but still quite nice. Durian pengat and a chocolate cake was also nice. The chocolate was creamy and nice as usual but just 2 rounds would be enough if you do not want to end up vomiting.

The buffet includes soft drinks Pepsi, MUG root beer and Mirinda grape.

If you like the thicken version of the chicken sausage, the breakfast buffet here will be able to delight you. Premium chicken sausage which is rich in the chicken meat is tender and firm. The chicken meat is also tender and juicy. As the portion is quite hugh, two pieces are more than enough to satisfy your taste buds. This is one of the popular item on the buffet spread and best like by everyone. Usually will be out of stock on the buffet spread soon too.

Bought the groupons for the heavy buffet dinner with my bf. I was seated outside the restaurant near the hotel lobby and bar, and the ambiance was nice with music in the background from the bar.Drinks are free flow; you get your own cup, ice and soft drinks. The buffet also includes coffee and tea. Food wise, the rock oysters and fresh prawns were nice. Salmon sashimi does not look appetizing due to the placement but tastes alright. I would recommend this place if you love oysters and fresh prawns.

Their lunch buffet is at $46 and it comes with free flow of soft drinks and hot beverages. For that price, there's cheese, salad, seafood, sushi, soup, some Asian delights and desserts selections - cakes, kuehs and ice cream.

The salads choice is quite a spread, there's tuna, egg, potato, chicken and some other salad. I like the Caesar Salad the most as there's this bowl in front whereby you can DIY your own Caesar Salad adding bacon bits, cheese and etc.

Potato Leek Soup

The taste is quite similar to cream of mushroom, if you like mushroom soup then this potato leek soup will probably suit you. Although there's leek in it but there's not much leek taste in it, you wouldn't notice it is leek soup. Nice!

Clockwise: Tofu, Pan Fried Fish, Chicken Pasta, Vegetables Curry with Rice and Prawn with Wasabi Sauce.

Every dishes on this plate is good! It is very rare that you get so many great food over at the hot selections for a buffet.

The Mee Siam is one that you can die for! It is way to excellent! Usually when I go to buffets whereby they have this live stations for local delights it doesn't taste that nice compare to a hawker stall but this Mee Siam outdo the hawker stall Mee Siam! The gravy is sour-sweet which make it very appetizing.

You can find all kind of egg tarts here: Kaya, durian and the Portuguese. And thiere's this Bandung Kueh that is quite creative. The cakes here are okay, if I have any disappointment that will be the cakes.

There's four choices of ice cream to choose from: coffee, chocolate, strawberry and vanilla. Plus you can add different toppings on the ice cream!

Overall, the range of food here isn't a wide spread but there's quality in most of the food they serve so it is more of a less quantity and good quality. And it depend on the individual, if you are not into sushi, salad and cheese then you might not find it worth it here.

We bought vouchers for the buffet at almost 50% off. So our party of 6 ended our long day of work with a heavy heavy dinner. I didn't try every dish but will share what I tried and liked: 1) Roast Beef - they don't have a craving station to crave the slices for you but they make up with really tender beef slices that's still pink on the centre. 2) Roti Prata - I know I know! 1) Roast Beef - they don't have a craving station to crave the slices for you but they make up with really tender beef slices that's still pink on the centre.

2) Roti Prata - I know I know! Who in the sane mind eats roti Prata at a buffet right. But they make it on the spot and it's crispy on the outside. Plus you eat it with very yummy fish curry and another eggplant dish. It's just very very good combi ok?

3) Pasta - they cook this on the spot too but only have one sauce base - cream. It's not that it's not nice but other than variety of pasta, it would be good to have variety of sauce too.

4) Sashimi - Decent, not your best cuts but it's buffet so don't have unreal expectations ok?

5) Oysters - I don't eat them but friend says it's fresh. That's what counts right?

6) Chicken Soup (Western style) - Not too bad with noticable ingredients.

7) Salted Vege Soup - way too salty to be palatable.

8) Dessert - they have a whole counter just for the sweets and the one I love most is the kaya Portuguese egg tarts! The filling is sweet but not too much and the crust is crispy. It's kept warm so that when you eat it, it's just right.

There were many other good tasting dishes but I don't remember that all. It's certainly worth my $35.

The ambience was good! Quiet and peaceful place for gathering sessions to catch up. Very cozy environment to the slow and quiet afternoon. Went with a couple of girl pals for chillout and all of us agree decor was nice.

Service was ok, could be better if staff could clear the plates at a quicker pace. Service staff were friendly.
