First time trying this dish at Cathay! Will definitely go there again! I went there on a friday just after my class and I ordered this potato dish which i forgot the name for it and the seafood pizza! The potato dish was something like rosti with a curry dip. Something unusual for me but the taste was just WOW! The pizza was also really something! The pizza's did not have a crust and it was qute thin but the toppings on it were plentiful! So Yummy! After having lunch, I decided to grab some dessert Matcha Ice-Cream. First time trying this ice-cream, I found it not bad. The matcha here was certainly worth it. It was very rich of green te flavor and smooth too.There was a hidden taste of milk but not very strong. It was not overly sweet and the taste just right. I can even taste with a hint of bitterness. It was soothing for your tongue. The cone was thick and fluffy.

Having heard that the food here is good, me and my friends went down to Shokudo to celebrate my friend's birthday. I ordered the grilled chicken rice set. It looks really good! They separated the curry into another bowl. The portion is big and filling and the chicken is tender and tastes really good with the sauce

Before watching a movie, my girl friends and I decided to have lunch at Shokudo. It was a Good Friday and out of all the restos at Cineleisure, they had seats for us. Japanese curry is always my favourite curry, it won’t be too spicy nor too rich, consistency is just right. I liked the way they cooked the egg and covered the rice. Egg though was slight bland in taste, one could add some salt and pepper to bring out their own preference taste, whereas I liked it creamy with soft touch in your tongue! Pork chop was fine.Overall, it is up to standard. If it is a hot day, it will quite sunny while sitting at the side of the restaurant.

After movie, went to shokudo for dinner.This is the mini dessert they serve for ordering a value meal. Don't get cheated by the look as it actually tastes quite weird As I ordered the value meal, i find the price is ok but not for ala carte meal. I wasn't able to snap the main course because by the time the food were served. all of us were too hungry to finish up the food. Overall, the food taste not bad will probably re visit the place but not for the dessert.

Passed by the Shokudo Cafe for many times but i never step in to have a taste of food there. I was attacted by Omu rice on somebody's table that day. So i chose the dine there and ordered Grilled Chicken Curry Omu Rice. The taste of the grilled chicken is average and the curry taste same as what i cooked at home, Japanese curry cube that i bought from NTUC. The egg on the top of the rice is just taste like egg, no additional flavour. I am expecting it will be a bit sweet or salty.

My friends and I ordered :Teriyaki Chicken Cheese Burger - Huge portion, with egg, tastes teriyaki enough, but I find the chicken a little tough. Somewhat frozen feel. I had ordered the Tonkatsu Curry Omu Rice.It was huge portion, curry taste salty, rice was good but the tonkatsu was tough and tastes frozen. Disappointing.However, The main thing which i love about shokudo would be the ambiance. it's a wonderful place to hang out with friends.

We had a celebration at Shodoku. The cushion seat are limited and we were lucky to have it. There are wide choice of food to choice from. They are more of a western style Japanese restaurant. We order the curry rice, omelette rice as well as sushi to start with. The curry of the curry rice is tasty and not spicy which is the nature of Japanese curry style. The omelette was cook in the right temperature and time. I would recommend this restaurant to others for the delicious food!

Well, this student meal Assorted Tempura with Japanese Curry and Rice is very vegetable. There are really quite some vegetables in it like lady finger, mushroom and more.
