Brought by MediaCorp artist, Jeff Wang, it was a local Taiwanese Cuisine. Selling several specialty foods from Taiwan, it was getting more and more famous. Awesome Taiwanese Chicken Bites with such attractive packaging, it looked tasty and was very suitable snacks just after dinner. Freshly fried, chicken was crispy yet not greasy. A bit spicy taste because of the chilli powder, it was appetizing. Price wise, it was still acceptable for me, $5.00 for one portion of chicken.

Wanted to order the crispy chicken but it was sold out. Hence, ordered the crispy fish instead. Though it is quite tasty and I assume is freshly cooked (given that it is hot when served), I feel that is not value for money as there are only a few pieces of fish (the vinegar fish and chips from British Chippy is definitely better and cheaper!). Personally, I also think that it has a sourish smell, provably due to the flavouring added to the fish, and hence, not everyone will like it.

Was walking around during lunch time for small bites as wasnt feeling too hungry. Saw the display of the menu outside Xiao Bar Wang and decided to give the fish and chicken bites a try. Quite expensive.. cost around $5 for such a small serving.

Instead of oyster, the chicken is added in the mee sua of Xiao Ba Wang. Though the mee sua is kinda tasty, I feel that there is nothing special when compared to those which are served in other TW style eateries such as Shi Lin. In fact, I still prefer the one which I ate in Taiwan and I think that the standard of this mee sua is still far from it. Nevertheless, the food is reasonably priced and I do not mind visiting this place again.

Whenever I pass by this place, I will definitely buy a few pieces of tea leaf eggs to bring back and share with my family members. The fragrant from the tea leaf is really nice and not overly coated with the tea leaves' flavour. The egg is quite chewy and not too hard in texture. Even though the price may be abit too high, but because of its nutritional value content, I will still buy it once in a while.

i suddenly had craving for oyster mee sua so I headed to the nearest branch to buy my favourite bowl of oyster mee sua. I like oyster mee sua cos their gravy is really tasty. it is very thick and I love the chilli that they add to the mee sua. It gives it a spicy taste.they are very generous with the shredded chicken as well. One more thing is that their mee sua is not overcooked. It still had some chewiness. Their oysters are really fresh as well though this they only gives 3 oysters. Neverthel

I went to this place a couple of time after work, and didn't manage to get the famous minced pork rice ($4.20). It usually sold out quite early, says before 7pm. So you just have to try your luck if you go there late. I finally managed to buy the rice yesterday. The minced pork rice is served with stewed egg and vegetables, very generous amount of minced pork. Conveniently located at the busy district, this little eatery provides a 'fast food' service. Though teh queue is long, but one would not need to wait for too long before getting the food. I ordered set meal 1 that consists of mee sua + chicken + drink + tea egg, costs $7.8, not bad. The mee sua is delicious, the flavour is good, and not too starchy. The deep-fried chicken is well-marinated in pepper, and gives a tangy after taste, very crispy too. It tastes good for the first few pieces, but af

The deep-fried chicken is well-marinated in pepper, and gives a tangy after taste, very crispy too. It tastes good for the first few pieces, but after a while the tongue sort of feeling numb caused by the pepper.

Same thing for the Mega Crispy Chicken. This one is marinated/ coated with spices and chilli I guess, but the texture is very tender and juicy. Worth trying a few bites.

My friends and I love this place for their mee sua. For people who don't enjoy oysters in their mee sua, this place would be recommended! There's like meat balls in the mee sua and their noodles are very smooth. The gravy is not too thick and the parsley is very fragrant. Overall, the price of the dishes are affordable but the portions are quite small. Also, their specialty cold noodles is always unavailable.

This cold noodles (liang mian) which i bought from xiao ba wang really disappointed me.The whole set was pre prepared. When i ordered, they served me immediately. The liang mian sauce that i eaten before from other stalls were liquid base. This sauce was quite solid texture which i think was caused by cold temperature. Perhaps they pre packed and put it in the fridge. The whole noodles taste miserable and unable to describe the weird taste. I will never try again.

XIAO BAR WANG is very affordable. Their price range is from around 3 to 6 dollars for each food item. Other than that, as what i've mentioned in the previous post on xiao bar wang, their ru rou fan is also one of the best.

They also serve their food in meals so buy more and save more!
